Bowden's Bench - Tried and Tested

In last week’s Bench we looked at the advantages of playing different positions. This week I’ve selected a mix of more traditional players for their positions and an inside-out winger.
In this weekly blog I shine the spotlight on three IN-FORM (IF) Team of the Week (TOTW) players who maybe don’t quite get the same attention as their superstar counterparts, but can be great value for money and really improve your team. This week’s team sheet features Vanczak, Sigurdsson and Pletikosa.
In modern times we tend to treat fullbacks as attacking players, but if you check out your squad screen you’ll see that they’re just as yellow as your CBs. IF Vilmos Vanczak is an old-school RB with 87 Heading and 75 Defending keeping your right flank well-protected. Around 20,000 coins should be enough to land you his services. |

A right-footed LM with 86 Shooting. Need I say more? You’ll be cutting in from the wing and scoring long-range screamers on a regular basis with IF Gylfi Sigurdsson. You can pick up the former CAM for around 30,000 coins. |

If a goalkeeper positions himself correctly, it makes his job a whole lot easier in any situation. IF Stipe Pletikosa’s 81 Positioning, combined with his 77 Diving and 76 Reflexes, means he’s one of the best Silver shot-stoppers around. He’s an absolute steal at around 5,000 coins. |
