Four Origin Live Chats and countless coffees later, we’ve finally reached the end of Day Two. Check out today’s chat replays for full coverage of our earlier Q&As, or read on for the wrap-up.
Today began with our Skullgirls live chat, where we got some candid commentary on the fighter genre from arcade champ Mike Z. and artist Alex “o_8” Ahad. The pair showed off several trailers of their hand-drawn game, talked comeback mechanics (they don’t believe in them), and discussed the upcoming release of their title on PC.
At noon, we brought the team of Darksiders II into the Origin chat room for a look at Death in action. Due to some small technical issues, our replay starts a little late, but you’ll still be able to get a good look at the sequel’s engrossing gameplay.
At 2:00 p.m. PT, we turned our focus back to EA, bringing Ellana Fortuna and Matt Bendett of the Dead Space 3 in for a live chat and demo. In it, they showed off the game’s hi-res graphics, gave out some Peng (everyone wants it), and discussed some of the benefits of teaming up against terror. There’s sure to be a lot more info coming as we edge toward 2013, so be sure to follow Dead Space 3 (@deadspace) on Twitter for the latest.
Our second day at E3 wound down with an extended demo of Crysis 3’s gameplay, as well as a live Q&A. In it, Mike Read and Chris Auty fielded questions about Prophet’s bow, the game’s graphical demands, and Nanosuit customization. You can watch the full replay here.
Don’t forget to join us tomorrow for four more chats live from E3! You can check out the full schedule of events at www.ea.com/e3.
