Members of the gaming community flocked to the Sydney Show Ground in Homebush this past weekend to celebrate gaming culture at the EB Expo. EA was there giving attendees a hands-on with some of our most popular titles such as Need For Speed Most Wanted, Madden NFL 13, FIFA 13 and The Sims.
In its second year, the EB Expo moved to Sydney from the Gold Coast. More than 30,000 gamers and fans visited over three days. EA alone had more than 12,000 visitors at its "bunker".
In a world first, the Medal of Honor Warfighter single player campaign was playable in part on the Xbox 360. Once word got out, there was a constant queue outside the bunker. Close to 5,000 gamers got their hands on Medal of Honor Warfighter on PC and Xbox 360 over the three days of the expo.
Fans storm the EA bunker for Medal of Honor Warfighter and Crysis 3 hands-on.
Even the expo crew couldn't resist the lure of a quick game of FIFA 13 during their breaks.
What's a gaming expo without cosplayers and there were plenty. Daniel Walker was walking the floor as Hawke from Dragon Age 2 when we grabbed him for this shot. We also caught up with Rachel Condon as Alice from Alice: Madness Returns and Nola Dudley as Chell from Portal 2.
Stay tuned for more photos on our Facebook gallery (coming soon), and re-live the Expo with our time-lapse video coming later this week.
