Need for Speed Most Wanted coming on Oct 30

To be Most Wanted, you'll need to outrun the cops, outdrive your friends, and outsmart your rivals. With a relentless police force gunning to take you down, you'll need to make split second decisions. Use the open world to your advantage to find hiding spots, hit jumps and earn new vehicles to keep you one step ahead.

In true Criterion Games fashion, your friends are at the heart of your experience. In an open world with no menus or lobbies, you'll be able to instantly challenge your friends and prove your driving skill in a variety of seamless multiplayer events. Your rivals will do everything they can to stop you from getting to the top. In this world, there can only be one Most Wanted.

Awesome, another dumbed-down NFS game for the Burnout crowd. I still haven't forgiven EA for allowing Criterion to make Hot Pursuit with no Manual Transmission!

Not sure what makes you think this will be dumbed down, perhaps you should wait until it's released before you make that kind of statement.

Not sure what makes me think this will be dumbed down? I think the clue lies in the last part of my sentence up there.

Looks fantastic... One wolf must be off his head... If the last most wanted they done is anything to go by this will be a landmark game for the NFS franchise... Criterion or not it looks like they have followed the same basic rules as the previous Most Wanted and I will have a copy in my entertainment unit on the 30th of October! Thank you very much...

Nope, not off my head, 85rishy, just very disappointed. The last Most Wanted and the old Hot Pursuit games were arguably the most fun racing games ever made. Criterion's MW will have indestructible little Porsches that can ram big heavy Police cruisers with very little consequence. Also, there will most likely be no Manual Transmission as an option again, just like all the other Burnout games. Hopefully someone from EA will read this, and the feedback left by others on Youtube echoing my feelings, so that one day EA might release a NFS game we've been waiting for all these years.
