The Sims 3 Showtime

I'm kind of incredibly diappointed with this expansion...I know it's only in the early stages of development so obviously there's going to be way more to it...but I can't help feeling that EA's getting incredibly desperate here. I'm glad that there's a new expansion out and they're not stopping with the Sims 3 however what does this expansion really offer us? Four new careers that look pretty straight-forward and boring, few new clothing choices, maybe a pinch of extra furniture?

  It certainly doesn't look like there's a new neighbourhood (Generations didn't include one and Bridgeport and Appaloosa Plains were certainly a gigantic let down) as 0:42 looks like the base neighbourhood (on second glance it doesn't but EA's pretty nifty). So guys, please let me know, am I just being a major pessimist here?

to be honest i don't know, but I can certainly say that i don't want to "share" my sims game with my friends. i don't mind the idea of the new clothes or careers or anything, but the ability to go into my friends games does nothing for me. the fact that there is no new world either irritates me a little but isn't that big a deal. I just think from the looks of it they could've done so much more with it. you know?
