The Sims 3 (iPhone/iPod touch) is #1


In less than 24 hours, The Sims 3 for iPhone has risen to the top of the App Store and is currently sitting at #1!! Reports have been rushing in that this is not only true in the US, but also in territories like the UK, NZ and Japan.

We are both excited and humbled and couldn't have done it without you.

EA's iPhone Lineup @ E3

This past year, the iPhone™/iPod® touch has exploded onto the scene and EA is right there, making some of the hottest titles the platform has to offer.

At this year's E3, we'll be showing off the newly released The Sims 3, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, and Tetris (in celebration of the 25th anniversary), as well as previews of Mass Effect Galaxy and Command & Conquer.

Stop by the EA booth (#1501/South Hall) for a demo (and to say "Hi", of course!)

It's Showtime!!

The final day of setup allowed all the finishing touches to be added to the booth. A BMW M3 was driven in to promote the Need for Speed SHIFT contest. A huge Dragon sculpture required 8 men to move into position. A life size Dante sculpture is now protecting the Dante's Inferno private room, check out the attention to detail if you can stop by. On the way out of the convention center for the final day, there was a Sims 3 Toyota Prius on display.
The Sims 3 Toyota Prius is on display complete with Plumbob and all. This is a shot as we left for the final night of setup.

EA Press Conference Notes Pt. 1

-John Riciitiello EA's CEO is on the stage 

-The Sims 3 Trailer.  The Sims 3 is in stores tomorrow!

-On Stage: Chip Lange GM of EA's Hasbro Division- Littlest Pet Shop!  Three new adventures to take your pets coming this fall, not to mention all new ---Littlest Pet Shop Online!

-Purchase a Littlest Pet Shop Plush Toy and get a code to activate the pey's online life, connect with friends in a safe online world!

-On Stage: Dyan Williams, Sr. Producer of The Charm Girls Club, for the Wii and NDS.  Four girls on stage to demo Charm Girls Club Pajama Party.

-On Stage: Pat Soderland on the Need for Speed team- Unveiling the all new Driver Profiles in NFS Shift.

-Driver Profiles give players a unique persona based on their performance.

-Brand New BMW M3 will be given away in the E3 booth at the end of the show on Thursday, NFS Shift Tournament will determine the winner.

-On Stage: Drs. Ray Muzyuka and Greg Zeschuk: Dragon Age Origins is going to be deeper, darker and lustier than anything BioWare has ever done before.

 -Will post the trailer here later, check back!  Dragon Age Origins out October 20th.

-On Stage: The Drs. are back.  Mass Effect 2 Trailer.
