EA Games Label

The EA Games Label is home to the largest number of EA studios and development teams, which together create an expansive and diverse portfolio of games in such genres as action/adventure, role playing, racing, and first-person shooter. In addition to traditional packaged goods games, the EA Games Label also develops Play-4-Free games.The EA Games Label portfolio includes several established franchises such as Need for Speed, Battlefield, Dead Space and Medal of Honor with additional titles in development. The EA Games Label titles are developed at the following studios: Criterion (located in Guildford, England), DICE (located in Stockholm, Sweden), Danger Close (located in Los Angeles, California), Visceral Games (located in Montreal, Canada and Redwood Shores, California), Phenomic (located in Ingelheim, Germany) and EA Partners. The EA Partners group works with external game developers and third party studios to provide these partners with a variety of services including development, publishing, and distribution. Current EA Partner studios include 38 Studios, Crytek, Respawn Entertainment and Insomniac Games.

 

 

EA SPORTS Label

EA SPORTS is one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world, with top-selling videogame franchises, award-winning interactive technology, global videogame competitions and breakthrough digital experiences. Creating connected experiences that ignite the emotion of sports, popular EA SPORTS franchises include Madden NFL football, FIFA Soccer, NHL® hockey, NBA LIVE and NBA JAM basketball, NCAA® Football, Fight Night boxing and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® golf. The majority of development for EA SPORTS games is done at EA Canada (Burnaby, B.C. Canada) and EA Tiburon (Orlando, Florida) studios.

 

 

EA Maxis Label

Maxis, originally founded in 1987, and now an Electronic Arts label with studios in Emeryville, Redwood Shores, and Salt Lake City, has created some of the world’s most popular franchises including SimCity, Spore, and The Sims, one of the best selling franchises in gaming history. Maxis games exemplify deep simulations that encourage player-driven creativity while delivering unique genre-defining style of gameplay. Maxis is currently hard at work on SimCity for PC, the rebirth of the king of city-building simulations and expansion packs and content updates for The Sims franchise.

 


EA Interactive Label

EA Interactive represents EA’s business in the emerging areas of online and mobile games. EA Mobile is the world’s leading wireless entertainment publisher – including the #1 app developer on Apple’s App Store -- with award-winning games such as Tetris, Scrabble, Bejeweled, The Sims, and Need For Speed. Pogo.com is one of the leading casual gaming destinations on the Internet, with more than 1.9 million paying subscribers each month. EA Interactive is also home to EA’s growing business in the social gaming sector. Led by Playfish, which EA acquired in 2009, gamers of all ages enjoy titles like Pet Society, Hotel City and Restaurant City on social platforms like Facebook and others.

 

 

EA BioWare Label

The BioWare Label is a division of EA which crafts high quality, multiplatform, role-playing, MMO and strategy games, focused on emotionally engaging, rich stories with unforgettable characters and vast worlds to discover. Since 1995, BioWare has created some of the videogame industry’s most critically acclaimed titles and franchises, including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Dragon Age. BioWare also oversees the award-winning MMOs Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Dark Age of Camelot and Ultima Online.
