[LIVE DEMO] Real Racing 3 Stuns Audience At Apple’s iPhone 5 Unveil Event

On Wednesday September 12, EA participated in Apple’s press conference for the iPhone 5 unveil, and presented the first live demo of Real Racing 3. EA was the only external game developer on stage showcasing the capabilities of the new iPhone, which is the result of the strong partnership with Apple as well as testament to EA’s mobile market leadership. Rob Murray, executive producer of Firemonkeys, did the live stage demo of Real Racing 3 on the iPhone 5. He and Nick Earl also conducted interviews with top tier media including USA Today, Gamasutra, Forbes, Kotaku and CNET, who commented, “With dynamic reflections and working rear-view mirrors, there is also an added dimension of realism that I haven't seen on any other mobile racing titles.” To date there have been over 4,500 articles secured highlighting the first public demo of Real Racing 3, as well as the quality of graphics on the new iPhone and what this means for the mobile gaming industry.
Today you got to see what it will look like on the iPhone 5, which is the first phone that has the hardware to accurately display the game in all its glory – from the incredibly detailed cars, to track models to the dynamic reflections. Now the cars in Real Racing 3 look like the real deal with chrome alloys, carbon fiber, leather interior and even metallic and pearlescent paint.
As Rob Murray, Executive Producer at Firemonkeys was on stage at the event to show off the game and said: “Apple technology continues to evolve the mobile games experience, and we believe games like Real Racing 3 best highlight what consumers have to look forward to with these advancements."
