Season Sim Week 14

 

Welcome to Week 14 of the EA SPORTS NHL 13: 2012-2013 NHL Season Simulation.Simulations will be released on a weekly basis and will include top headlines, Hockey Ultimate Team Three Stars of the Week, box scores for each game, as well as standings and statistics for the league. The rosters used in the simulation will include all transactions made during the 2012 NHL Free Agency period.
 
 

Week 14 (Jan. 7 - Jan. 13) Headlines

  1. Vancouver continued to dominate the Western Conference and leads the league by a seven-point margin.
  2. The Ottawa Senators climbed to second place in the Eastern Conference.
  3. The Pheonix Coyotes moved into third in the West, as the Sharks cooled off. Mike Smith tied for the lead in wins. Antoine Vermette has 45 points through 40 games with a plus-25 rating.
  4. The New York Rangers moved into a playoff spot, now seventh in the East.

Three Stars of the Week: Presented by Hockey Ultimate Team

  1. Zach Parise, MIN: 3 GP, 4 goals, 5 assists
  2. Dustin Byfuglien, WIN: 3 GP, 1 goal, 5 assists
  3. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, EDM: 1 GP, 1 goal, 1 assist

Each week, the Hockey Ultimate Team: Three Stars of the Week players will be featured in the NHL 13 ‘Hockey Ultimate Team’ mode as members of the ‘Team of the Week’. Fans can challenge the ‘Team of the Week’ and can collect the special edition ‘Team of the Week’ items featuring the players.
