We do take cheating very seriously here at Crytek. We are currently taking steps to permanently remove exploits from Crysis 2 and to penalize those individuals that choose to utilize them. We thank you for your patience and want to ensure you that we will continue to work hard to keep the integrity of Crysis 2 intact and cheat-free.

We do take bugs very seriously here in the real world. We are currently taking steps to permanently get rid of our copies of Crysis 2 and to penalize those individuals that choose not to fix these bugs (YOU Crytek, YOU). We hate you for your negligence and want to ensure you that we will continue to hate you until the integrity of Crysis 2 is restored and it becomes bug-free. Seriously... the nanocatalyst glitch and the non-responsive melee in SP are the most annoying bugs ever. Do something.

We do take impatient nerd ragers very seriously here in the mature community. We are currently taking steps to make you feel like you're contributing to absolutely nothing by blaming the developer that's being pushed off the plank with fire sticks by their publisher. We hate you for your ignorance and want to ensure you that no one really gives a damn about you. Seriously... you really don't contribute to anything if not to make someone feel bad for something they're most likely not responsible for (talking about devs being pushed by publishers to release on time).

That explains why 9 people liked my comment while 6 people disliked yours. I appreciate your efforts, but the fact remains that there are bugs that are not fixed. If there was a warning on the box saying 'You won't have fun playing this game because it is full of bugs' then maybe I could have accepted these flaws. Don't think for one second that the developers and publishers are above the users. They depend on our support for their success, and you can't expect support for a bug ridden game.

let me tell you something about games..no matter how good the company evry game has bugs before and after release..and even patches that fix them bugs create more bugs..there is not a game in this world that is bug-free...so if u want a game that is bug free..well i suggest u get out of the agmin community cuz us REAL PC gamers understand that crysis came out for pc first...the one that actually pc game and not just builg a rig to show it off understand that the consoles players didnt get to experience the first crysis in anyway..i have crysis,warhead,a dn wars..and now i have crysis 2 for both my pc and my ps3...they didnt ignore the pc community..if they did you wouldnt have the cryss 2 game..it would be console exclusive..so shut and be glad you actually got a gam,e...from ur attitude and how immature you guys are acting i almost wish that they had cancelled the pc release for another month...until any of you start building games from scratch..well dont even criticize..you cant criticize until u actually know what ur talking about

To be very honest, I would have been more than happy to wait a month or even 5 for Crysis to come on the PC provided it is not bug ridden then. It's not like I'm even playing the game right now. It's barely any fun. I've actually kept it aside in anticipation of bug-fixes and started playing Crysis 1 (A game that truly deserves recognition and which shows how Crytek has declined). If you go to a restaurant and see hair in your soup, would you hesitate to criticize even though you are not a cook?

dude i dont get you... i have NEVER seen a game like crysis one with so many bugs... come on. theres never-ending holes. theres killing glitches, bugs which makes the AI stupid etc. all though im probably the biggest crytek enthusiast i am a fan cause i see the downsides of games as well as the greatness. ur no gamer. ull never be cause all u do is to critizise it like a freaking deucebag. btw i love crytek and all three crysis games. they are amazing and yes theres some small bugs but...

Oh you narrow minded fellow. I am not merely comparing Crysis 1 to Crysis 2. It is the attention given to both the games. While Crysis 1 had its bugs, Crytek took an active role in trying to fix them. Crysis 2 on the other hand was barely given any attention BEFORE release. Now stop whining and accept the facts straight. EA probable had a helluva lot of influence on the final product..so dont always blame crytek..EA has done a good job of screwing over games this year and last year..and the year before that...let me list a few...Command and Conquer 4....Command and Conquer RA 3......and i willing to bet that the other will be on that list soon..Crysis 2 is already there..but it didnt turn out as bad as i thought...i dont like the fact that i cant lay down..but in these maps..which are quite small..it would do more harm than good..unless u are a Camper NOOB..which if i am correct..ur not

yeah i agree with you.,,,but ******** and moaning doestn solve the problem....yeah there are bugs..yeah so the pc didnt get all the attention...they have two new fanbases to worry about now....tryin to keep the fans on the PS3 and the Xbox happy...so they dont have as much time for the pc community...but u have to learn how to accept it and move on...i am not a fanboy of consoles, i would much reather have a nice setup for my comp..but i have a laptop..and there are far too many cheaters on the pc...once that area cools down i will play online on my pc again..i like the ps3...the xbox and the pc..i have all three..alll of them gets played about the equal amount of time....so i do not like any of them better..but the PS3 is my favorite cuz i dont have to pay for my ******* online thank u....i dont like Xbox live cuz of how Unfriendly it is toward the user...the XMB and PSN is much more user-freindly...but i am gettin off topic here...your gettin mad over a trivial matter..sure so they had the pc community first..but learn how to let other game systems shine in the spotlight for a little bit...and if u knew how to build game/mods..well it is no big deal to get dx11 working on your pc game...i did but it took me about 5-6 days to do so..i know it suck that the patch didnt come out day 1..but i willin to bet that it wasnt finished or it created bugs.....just likke the saying "no battle plan survives first contact with the enemy"...and i mane that nothing ever goes according to plan...especially in the gamin buisness....so at least be respectful..i like to get on here and actually see ppl bein nice...but it is an imperfect world we live in today...

I can clearly see that you do not understand certain aspects of this discussion. The probability that it is my computer's fault and not the game is infinitesimally small. Do yourself a favor and type "Crysis 2 bugs" on Google. See the responses and judge for yourself where the problem is. "and u say i am immature" Yes, I hold by my judgement. ok i am not mad but still...why is it that all these ppl have all these bugs..and i only have 1????aaahhh..once again i understand how a game is made..you do not know the facts of that certain carrer i bet...can u honestly say that u have built a good game....???well i wont lie..i have only made one and it was my first attempt....you know what..it was a mess...so i stuck to modding games...which is most of the time harder than makin the game itself...i always thought moddin was easy...and one more thing....you i can guess do not know much about how comp's really work..niot sayin u dont know anything about comps but i have been building comps since i weas bout 6-7 yr old..and i am 39 now...so when it comes to computers i know my stuff..are there things i dont know..yeah....no one on this earth knows evrything....i have a Major in engineering and i did 8 years at MIT...so i know some about computers....the bugs in ur game might be your computer..might be a program on your computer....i couldnt tell ya what to do about them...it might be the game..but then would not evryone that has the pc version of crysis 2 have them bugs...i have a few lag times but that is only in graphic intensives spots....and there is only 2 of them...so maybe u could tell me what ur running and myabe i could find your problems and fix them...just sayin never count out your comp as not being the prob..i have done that...it isnt easy to swallow your pride and say that u were wrong..i know...i am normally a very stubborn person..unless i am in a goood mood..whihc i am right now...and u might notice that i was very nice even you have insulted me 3-4 times...the last comment i wrote..well i was pissed at that moment anyway

ok i typed in crysis 2 bugs...well most of the bugs i dont have...the ai glitches..hell aint got any of them on the ps3..do the 360..1 they get stuck in walls if i melee them with there back to the walll....and on the pc same thing..and everyone says the graphics sucks...i have a tri-compatible vid card..and i am runnin dual ATI cards....they hace DX9-DX10-DX11 on them..and my game looks awesome..so once again i think more of the problems has to do with the comps..not the game.. if i only have 1 glitch...none on the ps3...but if the game is full of bugs why do i only have one???pls answer that for me

That was the entire point of my comment ! The reason why the PC suffers so many bugs and the PS3 has only 1 is because...(drumroll) They haven't given enough attention to the PC ! I have no intention of debating which console is the best. Anyway, now that they released a patch the bugs have seemed to disappeared. It took them long enough. Next time they want to release a game, they shouldn't rush it. If they need more time they should be given more time. That's all.

Where is the place i can go and tell you that Alcatraz2022 was hacking to the extreme at 5:15 central time. Do you get it? The people who like a clean game will tell you what server who and how they were cheating. So please you made this great game why cant i report those who abuse the system. Its because of those hackers that i no longer tell people that crysis 2 is a good game i now tell people that its not worth it and to wait for the next fps that takes care of their servers. Cheating is just lame. Do something or Lose more costomers.

WE waited two years for this and paid $60. WE were faced with cheats even in the Beta. Heads should roll at your company. The only poor comments WE read are in the forums. Did these reviewers ever play play this garbage ? WE want to know when this crap will end.

Grow up, I work for bungie and we did the same, you wait to see if they are overused and if they are then you remove them. And the faster you market the game the more money you end up making, also there's nothing to say that they did did or didn't no about this. We're only human, everyone makes mistakes. I am all grown up thank you. Lets talk about them lieing to the PC community and stating there would be a day 1 DX11 patch. Just a week before release. Now DX11 and crysis 2 has been stripped of existence on nvidia's website, crysis website, even twitter accounts from there developers. They lied not to lose sales. Also lets talk about the other obvious lie that crysis 2 was designed as a PC game first then brought to console. I won't even go into the dozens of dead giveaways that prove that this was not designed for PC first. I would cut them more slack if they did not knowingly deceive the same player base that was so loyal to them. Just to boost first day sales.

According to Crytek, CryEngine 3 runs natively on all the systems. Don't know how that works though. I agree that there are dead giveaways of this being designed with Xbox in mind. However, setting graphics to "Extreme" will still bring your system to its knees unless it's really kickass, so I'm sure it isn't simply a port. That being said, Crytek needs to give us that DX11 patch NOW. I think there's no need to ban players for exploits, simply because it's the developer's fault. Using an aimbot, however, is another story--that kills the experience for everyone on the same server by using an external program.

you forget that FarCry was what made Crysis possible..dont foget that FarCry 2 was on the PS3 and Xbox too....so dont u even think that the PC community alone made this possible....Crysis wasnt Crytek's first game..the money that came from FarCry 2 probably started Crysis..dont u ever forget that fact....

Yeah, just one tiny itsy bitsy detail... Crytek didn't make FC2, ubisoft did. Crytek made Farcry, Crysis, Warhead and now Crysis 2. Up until C2 it was PC only. Get your facts straight before you go all nuts. As said, a shame that they didn't make it for PC first and then tried to make it work on console.

yes but where the hell do u think got permission to do farcry 2...you do not know much about game developing and the relationship between game companies that exist....Ubisoft had to ask permission and Crytek automatically got 50% of the sales revenue from FarCry2....Crytek let them do on them conditions plus others..the money they made off that jumpstarted crysis therefore..you have the game u have today...oh yeah crysis 2 was made possible by the sales...but dont ever think u alone did the work....farcry is still bringin in sales today....so once again i have proven that ppl need ot be in gamin buisness to criticize..no one in here really know what the hell their talkin about...some might mod or build games but i know most of them...and they dont do this **** that u guys do...cuz they undedrstand how hard it is to actually make a game/mod...

Yea, please give us some way to report a player for cheating.. I've used allot of money to upgrade my computer for this game, but allot of people are using cheats and are basically destroying the game.. please fix it quick, i can't wait to play a working crysis 2! thanks!

yeah ppl like to do that on my wars server since i modded it..i have to get on there evryday and look at the reports..and since my modded server auto save each match replay..dont even ask me how i got it to that..it took about a year to get it set up..had to write and make my own server mod for that..i go in there and i will have 100-150 reports and half the ppl never even cheat...i am about to shut it down if it dont stop or take the reporting system out....i get tired of tellin ppl that my server auto kicks anyone that is detected hacking....my own server side mod has a listing of hack that i went through on the nert looking for all kinda of hack...put in a certain folder and it scans each players kill cam to see if they are hacking ....or if that dont work it scans the incomin signal to my comp....

Angelo Sguanci listent up. the sys req's for all crytek games are a bit high so it doesnt matter if you can play MW2 or BF bc2 bacuse this is in a hole other league. i run this game smoothly on extreeme settings and im sorry but i dont think you computer can take it. maybe you should stick to the MW2 games until you have getten a better pc. besides if anyone wants to make a clan/group im going to form one the next week. only scandinavian people:D you know. swedish danish and norwegans. Crytek / EA - that's great that you take it seriously. You should know that while you are taking it great, in the week that Crysis 2 has been released, most of the .au servers are now riddled with cheaters. Unlike Crysis, where we could set up our own servers, monitor and make players admin to look after the servers, Crysis 2 doesn't allow you to do that. There is no inbuilt mechanism for us to report cheaters. No website to report cheaters. So you did a fantastic job building up the anticipation for this game for the past 3 years, and within one week, I'm already fed up trying to find a server that doesn't have cheaters on it.

yeah well the pc version is bound to have cheater..and a really goood hacker/cheater can ecven hack into one of ur servers...and figure out a way to force host to them..that is why i have the pheonix anti cheat for my first crysis [plus a little something that i made

Thanks Crytek. I was hoping you were working on this, as it is a serious problem. To the community members that blame Crytek for the exploits: from a QA standpoint, there is almost no way for a developer to anticipate ahead of time how aberrant users will abuse their software post-release. Most cheating in PC games is achieved through third party programs, and developers can't prepare for every piece of errant code that might compromise their product. Once a game is out in the wild, only then is a developer empowered to defend against unsavory activities, through patches and server updates. So please, give Crytek a chance to enact their solutions before you start spewing hateful words.

The cheats exist because the anti-cheat services have been disabled, part of this reason is due to the anti-cheat services being tied in with the code/key system. So to investigate the "code in use" and key issues, the anti-cheat service is shut down. It's all part of the same system. I know people dont like bugs, but they happen. You can do whatever you can to test a game with a team of 50 skilled individuals, but bugs happen sometimes.

Oh and also...side note...There are a bunch of .exe inject hacks out at the moment as well as script changing to allow for perks at level 1 etc. I personally cant wait to see them all banned myself :D.

i understand crytek is a ton of work..but seriously there are people playing online with fake cd keys .They just crack the game and put and invented serial...i know this cause a friend of mine is doing it...the thing that gots me mad is that i faithfully pay my legitimate copy and yet people are playing it for free..i bought it to support the developers and play it online.. but i think i'm not recieving enough support from you guys!.. the game is freaking awesome but please fix this!! PD sorry for my awful english!!

Hello! I am sorry for my bad English! Read on forums about what comes out a new patch for Crisis 2. And it would include: Vote-kicking feature added. In my opinion - is one of the most effective and simple measures to combat the fraudsters/cheaters.. I hope that it will look as follows: Vote for the exclusion of a player can start any player. But to exclude the player should be taken into account only the voices of those players whose team is the one person against whom voted. For example: "Cell" voted against a player from the "Marines". The right to vote for the exclusion only have players playing for the "Marines". I believe that most players like myself are not pleasant to play with cheaters when they play like me on the same team or against me. Number of votes needed 3-4. Otherwise there will be a lot of abuse and opposing these players will not necessarily exclude cheaters, but just good players, so to say the best (the leading players from the opposing team). In my opinion it is more than reasonable. Thank you!

A good example I can give you a game Left 4 Dead. Where the system of exclusion of players implemented correctly in my opinion. In general, I am very pleased with the game Crysis 2. It's great. Thank you!

And here's what else I'd like to say. I apologize that I write here! I think that when you restart nanokostyuma - very bad, what is lost all the experience, number of murders and stuff. It's a shame. It would be better if all the characteristics remained unchanged and grew.

It seems fair to combat cheaters in multiplayer, but EA/Crytek, let me ask you this: Why punish Single-Player users? I am visually impaired and you cannot imagine how difficult it is for me to play games without--at the very least--God Mode. A little more consideration for the handful of Singleplayer-only players wouldn't hurt...

what gets me the most about this game is not cheaters BUTthe fact that PC got such a limited UI... No advanced gfx settings ,DX11(no big) issue cause DX9 looks ok until BF3 comes)... just the console type of interface. Also I thought we were gonna get a nice sandbox editor? MAYBE EA stopped you because they wanna cash in on ***? Good game but you need to let go of your console mindset IMO.

I doubt EA even reads this forum as I don't see any responses. Decided I'd play a few rounds tonight, left the first server due to not one but two cheaters. Join another server making sure I have the filter set to "official" assuming that might prevent these trolls but nope, Official servers are exploited as well. Thats 2/2 and completely unacceptable. I copied the one gamer tag "PRO DR.DEATH_2011" (PC btw) for those concerned. I don't plan on playing this again unless another patch come out.

I has seem a cheater badkiller 1005 for 3 days, I hate this player . YorickIIDX commented a link with a video aboud this player and i have two videos about badkiller 1005,but I don't know where can be uploaded these. On the first server, where i went today badkiller 1005 was there and kill everyone with cheat.

Yep ive seen badkiller 1005 cheating too and sent ea an email about it. If they have a steam account they should have their entire steam id blocked ... $100's of dollars and all their games down the drain might persuade people not to cheat!!!!

i have seen him on the ps3..big time cheater...i know that he had to...i was haveing a private mathc with my buddies and he hacked into it..i didnt even realize until i noticed his K/d ratio...55/0...lets just say i kicked him from the pirvate matchhe joined again..this time i was ready i kicked him again..
