The Crysis 2 Decimation Pack upgrades the multiplayer experience with 5 new battle-torn maps supporting all game modes – 5th Avenue, Chasm, Plaza, Prism, Apartments; and 2 new equipment items – the FY71 Assault Rifle and M18 Smoke Grenade. Adapt. Upgrade. Dominate. Be The Weapon.
Game Modes available on specific maps:
5th Avenue – Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Capture the Relay, Crash Site.
Chasm – Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site.
Plaza – Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Assault, Crash Site, Extraction, Capture the Relay.
Prism – Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Capture the Relay, Crash Site.
Apartments – Instant Action, Team Instant Action, Crash Site, Assault, Extraction.Weapon/Item - FY71 Assault Rifle and Smoke Grenade
FY71 - Assault rifle effective up to medium range, with high damage and low rate of fire.
Smoke Grenade - Used like a flashbang but on detonation deploys a large volume of smoke, blocking vision.

Consoles are destroying gaming. By being able to charge people for map packs, it opened the flood gates for *** of all kinds, from ******* gamerpics (really?!) to buying experience (Tales of Vesperia). This is goddamn ************* ridiculous. The shameless, reprobate greed of corporations is sickening. Capitalism sucks.

I could really care less about multiplayer content in this, it just doesn't attract me. Where is the up coming new single player content. Deathmatch multiplayer is trivial to churn out in comparison and I get that, I just don't want it and it isn't compelling. Where is the news on what you plan to be doing with the single player experience? Co-operative multiplayer through the story mode? THAT I'd pay for!

A second map pack within a few months of release...absolute joke. The massive catalogue of bugs with the actual game has already been shouted loud and clear with little to no fixes. It's next on impossible to get a game other than team instant action unless you're playing at peak times in the UK (for some reason the game seems to have a phobia of connecting with non-EU players on Xbox live despite every other game I own having no troubles whatsoever)...and that's just the game without extra content. I was stupid enough to buy the retaliation map pack which I more often than not find has still not managed to find enough players after I've finished a cigarette so is as good as useless and you now expect people like me to buy yet another map pack, just a month after your last one, which will almost certainly be even more hard to find enough players for it to actually be useable?!!!!!!! Last time I was online there were fewer than 1million people had even gone online........absolutely pathetic for a game of this caliber which clearly had a shed load of money and manpower for development and I genuinely believed would finally be a game to knock COD off it's pedestal of most played xbox live game. Add that to the fact Crysis 2 is already down to 25 on Amazon UK at the embarassingly bargain basement price of £23 and it's an absolute wonder how you've still not bothered to take in the complaints you can see everywhere on the net. Retaliation and Decimation should obviously have been free downloads for a huge number of reasons (after fixing bugs), but I sense sales figures for Crysis 2 were much lower than expected you just rushed them out asap to flog them to the few people while you still could, while Crysis 2 continues to nose dive down rankings whether sales or online play. While I've no love in paying for extra content, it's often a necessary evil I put up with......with this I just feel cheated.

I bought the Retaliation *** and WOULD love to play it!!! BUT I can NEVER find a game, the server issues w/Multiplayer are insanely frustrating! CRYTEK and EA you are shooting yourselves in the foot by not fixing it!! Look at the complaints above and listen to people during the games... The game is AWESOME, but the issues like not being able to find games, constant disconnections and EASY spawn camping are killing it!!

WTF, for the money of 5 *** packs i can buy a better game, a game without bugs, a game with bug support. I already paid for this game, why i should pay more, when i bought it i thouth there would be updates with new maps, weapons and mods. But, the only thing you want is my money. No thanks, you will not get it. 5 *** packs is the prize of the game, I prefer to buy a less buggi game.

Thanks crysis for that my ps3 becomes with the yelod ,coz one day i was played crysis about 7 hours@_@ ,and so isn't possible to fix it except 350$ all the problem comes when i play with crysis i love it so much

//rant start// I might consider this... like I was considering the first map pack before I realised that the page you buy stuff from isn't a secured page. Is it really that hard to create a secured page? On top of that, why must i "link" a credit card to my account; because that suggests that your storing the information and I don't want that to happen. Even using PayPal would fix that problem, but NOOOOO, you had to be different. Also, can you please fix some of the glitches and ping issues... it making play almost impossible with many local servers just being overlooked. FIX THE MULTIPLAYER BEFORE YOU EXPAND IT, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. It'll just add more problems that will be harder to fix. //rant end// That is all...

Imo. The multi-player in crysis 2 sucks. It was way better in Crysis 1, and no way im spending money for just a few maps and some weapons. I payed enough for the game itself as it is..

Again, It has nothing to do with paying for game content and being fair or not, it has to do with the fact the D L C lobbies are always empty, games are always getting disrupted for whatever reason and camping is waaaay to easy. So why am I going to pay for more content, when I can't even get in a solid game on what I already have??? The game itself is awesome!! It's like combining Halo and COD in one, but it's a Multiplayer mess!

I bought decimation pack for my ps3 game to play this weekend but nobody seems to be online. Hope crytek fix this problem putting all maps together so who has the dlc could choose new maps and find friends to play them. Huge disappointment.....
