Description: Despite his clumsy nature and questionable sleeping habits, Bombur is a hardy dwarf who excels at supporting his companions and frustrating his enemies.

Ability Description at max upgrade: Attack the target enemy for 200% damage and inflict Weak-Minded for 2 turn(s).

Grant Haste for 2 turn(s) to all Thorin’s Company squad members and 2 additional random allies.

Passive Ability: Well-rested

Ability Description at unlock: On Spawn, gain 2 stack(s) of Sleep. On Turn, convert each stack of Sleep on self into 1 Stamina, distributed to random abilities. On Turn end, gain 2 stack(s) of Sleep. This will not occur if Bombur is Stunned.

Ability Description at max upgrade: On Spawn, gain 3 stack(s) of Sleep. On Turn, convert each stack of Sleep on self into 2 Stamina, distributed to random abilities. On Turn end, gain 3 stack(s) of Sleep. This will not occur if Bombur is Stunned. Gain +15% Armor.

New Unique Character Boon:

Sleep - Cannot counterattack, evade, or block. When this character is granted any Assistance or Counterattack stacks, convert each stack to +25% Turn Meter instead. When attacked, remove 1 stack of Sleep. All stacks will be removed when Bombur is inflicted with Stun.

Key Attributes: Bombur is distinguished as one of the largest and clumsiest of Dwarves of Thorin’s Company. But don’t mistake his appearance for weakness. Bombur is a hearty defender, inspiring his friends to charge forth with haste, while confounding his enemies and slowing them down.

Inspiration: Brother of Bofur and cousin to Bifur, descended from the Dwarves of Moria. Bombur is the twelfth dwarf to arrive on the doorstep of Bilbo Baggins. He was known for his appetite and his propensity to fall asleep during the Quest for Erebor. Notably he fell into the waters of the Enchanted River in Mirkwood and fell into a deep enchanted sleep for six days. 

Strategy Tips:

• Brilliant Blunder is a powerful attack that will keep up the pressure on the enemy squad. If Bombur starts the turn with enough Sleep stacks, he’ll gain the stamina needed to continuously use this ability.
• Dwarven Rhythms will inflict Disrupted on all enemies. This ability is particularly helpful against squads that heavily rely on Boons.
• Bombur has a lot of Glyph versatility. Last Stand can accelerate his turn and convert Sleep stacks to Stamina. Withering can add a lot of damage with his two abilities that inflict Banes on all enemies. Experiment and find the best combo for your squad!

It is a great danger to seek the treasures within the Misty Mountains. The risk is even greater if one falls asleep in the process. Bombur learns this lesson when he is rudely awakened from a nap and finds himself in the middle of a Goblin stronghold. With the help of the other members of Thorin's Company, he must fight his way out of the mountain to continue his peaceful slumber.
