Tips and Tricks: How to play Battle Arena (PvP Playlist)

Battle Arena is a 4v4 PvP mode, where each team competes in rounds of elimination. The first team to win four rounds is the winner!

Battle Arena is a new 4v4 round-based elimination, no-holds-barred, obstacles of destruction mode – and the team that wins the most rounds wins. It all happens in Neighborville’s local recreation center, better known by the most fun name we could imagine: The Funderdome! Which, by day, is used by humans for Rulesketball games, that being Neighborville’s favorite sport. But at night, when the humans and their zombie-desired brains are in bed, the plants and zombies take the Funderdome over.

Notes:

  • You can join solo or as a team of up to four
  • You can only play each character once per match (so, if you play Peashooter in the first round, you will be unable to select Peashooter in subsequent rounds)
  • You can revive vanquished teammates, but the revive timer is shorter than in other PvP matches
  • There are no respawns
  • After two minutes in a round, an objective (capture point) will spawn that either team can capture to win the round

Tips:

  • Take a look at which characters other players on your team are playing and switch your character to help fill any gaps
  • Always keep in mind that after you use a character, you will be unable to pick that character again in that match – so use each one wisely
  • Make sure to set up your customization and upgrades before you join a Battle Arena queue as you will not be able to do so while in matchmaking
  • After vanquishing someone, it may be a good idea to stick around until their timer expires to prevent the other team from reviving, since the revive timer is shorter in this mode
  • Have fun!
