概要
- プレイフィッシュのアーティストとして、日本最大のモバイル・ソーシャルゲーム・プラットフォーム向けゲームのキャラクターや背景画像、アニメーションなど、クオリティの高いビジュアル素材を制作してください。
業務内容
- ビジュアル担当チームとともに、ゲームのアートディレクション全般の定義や作成をサポートする。
- クオリティの高いキャラクターや背景画像、そのほかアート素材全般を作成する。
- プログラマー、デザイナー、プロダクト・マネージャーと密接に連携を取り、担当したゲームのユーザーが一貫性のある上質なゲーム体験を味わえるようにする。
- 日本の開発チームの一員として現場を盛り上げ、必要に応じて開発中のゲームに対するフィードバックを行ったり社内のその他の活動に参加する。
応募資格
- 商業配信されたモバイルゲーム用のアートワークのポートフォリオ。
- 美術、グラフィックアートまたは関連分野の学士号必須。
- 色彩やフォルム、照明、構図の効果的な使い方を含む高度なデザインスキル。
- ユーザビリティやユーザーインターフェースに関する理解。
- 2Dアニメーションについての実用的な知識。
- アートディレクションおよびストーリーテリングについて精通している。
- Adobe Photoshop、Illustrator、Flashなどのツールを使った実務経験が豊富。
- 小規模プラットフォーム向けのビジュアル制作の技術的側面についての理解。
- ゲームやバーチャルワールド、ソーシャルネットワークに対する情熱。
- 日本で好まれるビジュアルスタイルを把握している（日本のマンガやアニメのスタイルを含む）。

- As an Artist at Playfish you will be creating high quality characters, environments and animations for games on the largest Japanese Mobile Social Gaming platforms
Job Description
- Work with the art team to help define and create and consistent overall art direction for your game
- Create high quality characters, environments and general art assets
- Work closely with the Engineers, Designers and Product Managers in order to ensure the user experience of our game is high quality, solid and coherent
- Be a positive member of our team, help to build a great culture for our Japan team, give feedback on games in development and take part in other activities in the company as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong art portfolio from commercially shipped mobile games
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field is required
- Excellent design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting and composition
- Solid understanding of usability and user interfaces
- Good working knowledge of 2D animation
- Expert understanding of art direction and storytelling
- Expert experience with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
- Understanding of the technical aspects of art production for small footprint platforms
- A passion for games, virtual worlds, and social networking
- Good understanding of Japanese preference art style (including Manga and Japanese Cartoon style)
- Business level Japanese language ability
