    EA Games Label

    The EA Games Label is home to the largest number of EA studios and development teams, which together create an expansive and diverse portfolio of games in such genres as action/adventure, role playing, racing, and first-person shooter. In addition to traditional packaged goods games, the EA Games Label also develops Play-4-Free games.

    The EA Games Label portfolio includes several established franchises such as Need for Speed, Battlefield, Dead Space and Medal of Honor with additional titles in development. The EA Games Label titles are developed at the following studios: Criterion (located in Guildford, England), DICE (located in Stockholm, Sweden), Visceral Games (located in Montreal, Canada and Redwood Shores, California), Phenomic (located in Ingelheim, Germany) and EA Partners. The EA Partners group works with external game developers and third party studios to provide these partners with a variety of services including development, publishing, and distribution. Current EA Partner studios include Crytek, Respawn Entertainment and Insomniac Games.

    EA SPORTS is one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world, with top-selling video game games and services. Creating connected experiences that ignite the emotion of sports, EA SPORTS franchises include Madden NFL football, FIFA Soccer, NHL® hockey, NBA LIVE basketball, NCAA® Football, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR® golf and UFC. The majority of development for EA SPORTS games is done at EA Canada (Burnaby, B.C. Canada) and EA Tiburon (Orlando, Florida) studios.

    As EA’s first label dedicated to purely digital games, EA All Play creates games for mobile devices, social networks and online environments that deliver seamless play anytime, anywhere, on any device. Connecting a market of more than one billion core and mass-casual gamers worldwide, EA All Play delivers engaging, accessible, high quality games to people of all skill levels and interests.

    The EA All Play portfolio encompasses some of the most recognizable entertainment brands in the world, including original EA and partner franchises like The Simpsons, Tetris, SCRABBLE, MONOPOLY, World Series of Poker, Real Racing, Ultima, as well as online games destination Pogo.com.

    EA Maxis Label

    Maxis, originally founded in 1987, and now an Electronic Arts label with studios in Emeryville, Redwood Shores, and Salt Lake City, has created some of the world’s most popular franchises including SimCity, Spore, and The Sims, one of the best selling franchises in gaming history. Maxis games exemplify deep simulations that encourage player-driven creativity while delivering unique genre-defining style of gameplay. Maxis recently launched SimCity for PC, the rebirth of the king of city-building simulations and expansion packs and content updates for The Sims franchise.

    EA Bioware Label

    The BioWare Label is a division of EA which crafts high quality, multiplatform, role-playing, MMO and strategy games, focused on emotionally engaging, rich stories with unforgettable characters and vast worlds to discover. Since 1995, BioWare has created some of the videogame industry’s most critically acclaimed titles and franchises, including Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Dragon Age. BioWare also oversees the award-winning MMOs Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Dark Age of Camelot and Ultima Online. BioWare currently operates in eight locations across the world, including Edmonton (Alberta, Canada), Montreal (Quebec, Canada), Austin (Texas), Fairfax (Virginia), San Francisco (California), Sacramento (California) Los Angeles (California) and Galway (Ireland). In 2008, BioWare was acquired by Electronic Arts, a leading global interactive entertainment publisher. In 2011 EA created the BioWare Label, alongside EA Games, EA SPORTS and EA Maxis.
