Greetings from New York City, where EA hosted its annual “Naughty or Nice” pre-holiday media event yesterday. Over 90 lucky members of the press were able to join me at the District 36 nightclub to talk with game developers and get their hands on over 30 of our upcoming titles, most of which will be available just in time for holiday gifting. The developers were also given a peek at a handful of other highly anticipated EA titles shipping in 2012 – including some which haven’t yet been announced!

The “Naughty” titles for 2011 included Battlefield 3, Need for Speed The Run, Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin, Mass Effect 3, Syndicate, and Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes. These games bring out the bad guy in all of us, forcing us to fight for our very lives as we wreak havoc on our enemies.

The “Nice” titles included Bejeweled 3, Burnout CRASH!, FAMILY GAME NIGHT 4 The Game Show, FIFA Street, SSX, The Sims 3 Pets, and a huge line-up of games for the iPhone and iPad from Chillingo, Playfish, Popcap, and EA Mobile. All of these are great family games that can provide hours of entertainment for gamers of any age.

Press coverage from yesterday’s media event will be hitting your favorite media outlets through the holidays, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for new stories about all your favorite EA games. Happy holiday shopping!
