EA Organizational Update

In recent weeks, EA has aligned all elements of its organizational structure behind priorities in new technologies and mobile.  This has led to some difficult decisions to reduce the workforce in some locations.  We are extremely grateful for the contributions made by each of our employees – those that are leaving EA will be missed by their colleagues and friends.

These are hard but essential changes as we focus on delivering great games and showing players around the world why to spend their time with us.

I know, I have never been so happy to watch a company crash and burn. All of this will continue until they are bankrupt as they have done absolutely NOTHING to change their image and regain some customers.

Maybe remove all of the forum mods, so they stop alienating the customers. Or maybe hire some hookers for the forum moderators so they can actually touch a ****** and stop being total *********. Thanks.

I totally agree, the only thing worse than the games EA has released lately, are it's customer support staff.

I hope someone at EA realizes that the way forward is not by making games "more accessible" to newcomers, because that alienates your fanbase. Please stop destroying good IP's by making them more accessible to casual gamers.. So many games I used to love have been utterly destroyed by EA.

How about putting a little more effort in game development instead of creating new ways to shove DMR's down our throats

When is EA going to get with the times and hire a financially disadvantaged female-to-male white-to-black Christian-to-Atheist transfat polyamorous dodecahedron as CEO? I demand to be represented in the industry!

Maybe you shouldn't water down the franchises you acquired to appeal to the casual gamer? Who will spend 500$ in the itunes store on music and in game transactions such as hats for their in game player model. But won't spend more than a Dollar at a time.

"In recent weeks, EA has aligned all elements of its organizational structure..." I don't know about EA, but when I align all elements of my organizational structure, it usually culminates in a glorious explosion that begins from my ***. So you're a corporation that naturally is only interested in the bottom line, yet you consistently degrade quality in your IP's up to the point where the original intent and inspiration that made them such a success has vanished. Wake up!

Hey EA! Remember when we voted You the worst company in US? I mean last year now You have taken the title two years in a row, are You awake yet? The users have been complaining massively and nothing has been done, start listening or go under.

Can I suggest organising some people into a customer service department? Just a thought.

Someone from Origin needs to get on the Need for Speed world forun, twitter, or facebook account and let us know your intentions for the game. No one is in charge and hackers took it over big time.

If EA would stop with the hard deadlines they demand of their developers then they might be able to put out a hit game again. As long as these hard deadlines keep coming down the pipeline from accounts who know nothing of making good games, EA's just going to keep pumping out garbage games that go in the bargain bin after 3 months. It's a vicious cycle and they do it to themselves. Someone at EA needs to start looking to the future instead of the here and now.

Maybe all the terminated EA people will start a gaming business of their own and out sale/out rank EA. This is what I'd really like to see. Since EA took over Maxis products the game quality has drastically decreased. Seems like the decline in sales would send a red flag up but evidently not.Focus needs to be on what the players want /need which includes customer service. EA /Origin both have terrible customer service. What's good a game without quality support?

This is the happiest EA has made me in a long time. Keep up the good work, keep producing unfinished video games and shedding customers and employees like dead skin; seems like a sound business model to me. Good job!

How about instead of sacking employees, YOU FOCUS ON DRASTICALLY IMPROVING YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH LACK OF CARE FOR THE CONSUMER, EVEN FOR PROBLEMS WHICH COULD BE EASILY FIXED. Little personal story, 2 months ago i logged into the Fifa UT web app to see that all of my players had been stolen. Players like Wayne Rooney, IF Skirtl, Robin vanPersi to name a few along with 177,000 coins, I appealed and got no response, Equivalent $300 stolen and you guys dont give a ****

Letter To EA The members 1,741 (and growing!) of Boycott EA Game's because pets are a true source of unconditional love in this world. It doesn't matter if that pet is a dog, cat, fish, hamster...or virtual pet! And when any pet dies, the owner grieves because pets are members of our families too. Over the past six years, Pet Society players devoted countless hours to this game. Some of us even used real cash to purchase items in the game. Whether the EA/Playfish Terms of Service stipulated
