EA Tuesday Exclusive: Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Soundtrack

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare hits shelves today so for this week’s EA Tuesday Exclusive we’re giving you first access to the game’s soundtrack! Be sure to follow us on Twitter as well for a chance to win a copy of the game today.

The soundtrack to this one-of-a-kind shooter brings together the crazy, fun and unpredictable atmosphere of the game that mixes classic PvZ themes with 80’s inspired synth pop and a sprinkling of military action. The music for the game was composed by veteran composer Peter McConnell who has composed award-winning scores in entertainment for over two decade. But this marks the first time in his long career from EA titles like The Sims and Brutal Legend where he tackles an entirely new genre: zombie choir music.

Take a listen and let us know your favorite track! We hope you have as much fun listening as the PopCap team did in making the game!

Easy best track is the theme, as from playing the original it kind of grows on you, I hope this game will be as good as the 1st one.

Neat stuff; especially digging the Main Theme and Loon Skirmish, which are remixes of Laura Shigihara's PvZ themes from the original. Only been a few years, but brings on nostalgia none the less.

pre ordered plants vs zombies warfare. Because the first one I could play with my husband . When I arrived at the store to pick it up after waiting a year. thinking this was going to be like the other with more game play. Oh boy was I ever wrong. They informed us that it was online only. We still picked it up the box says 2 to 4 player. what it does not tell you is if you do not have a Xbox one then you can not be on the same console. unsatisfied gamer. will think twice next time.

This was being advertised as "free download" but unless I'm missing something, all you can do is stream and embed. Which is fine, I guess - but get your terminology right!

I would like to ask you what is the name of the song that plays when I was in the lobby and waiting for next game. It was after the game has ended. And also there was a list of players and timer counted remaing seconds. Thank you.

I think "Boogie Your Brains Right Over Here" is my favorite song. :)I also think that EA and PopCap did an awesome job making this game suitable for all ages, but is still immensely fun to play again and again. I also think that Peter McConnell and the guys that wrote and performed the songs for PvZ: GW did awesome with the songs.

All of them are so catchy and really fits with what situation you are in, whether you are attempting to capture the last objective, Defending a Garden, or fighting off big bosses. EA and PopCap also did a good job designing the characters we all know and love. :)

Love both themes involving the scarecrow (the scarecrow and garden shuffle) Such a nice bouncy toon that reminds me of a Pixar movie in a way. The main theme is cool too, along with iceice yeti!
