Get Early Access To The ME3 Co-Op Demo

With galactic war brewing, Mass Effect 3 is calling for all hands – and all Facebook users – on deck. Prepare to take back Earth when you join the ME3 Recruitment Program, where you can gain early access to the multi-player demo and get useful in-game items in the form of Recruitment Packs. 

There are actually two ways to get early access to Wednesday's co-op demo. The first, which was detailed in January, is to purchase a copy of Battlefield 3 and activate the associated Online Pass. The second way, announced just last night, is to join the Mass Effect Recruitment Program on Facebook, link up with your Origin account, and invite your friends to join the galactic war effort.

Recruitment Program enlistees will get early access to the game as soon as their first recruited friend links the Recruitment Program app to their Origin account. The friends they recruit will gain early access at that time as well. As a bonus, you can also earn up to five Recruitment Packs to use in-game – one for each of your recruits that finishes the Mass Effect 3 demo. Finish the demo yourself to complete your contribution to the war effort.

Download the Mass Effect 3 demo today on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or PC. Regular access to the co-op portion of the demo begins on February 17, 2012, and the full game hits shelves on March 6, 2012.
