Gearing up for Super Bowl Sunday? So are we – and we’re taking a walk down memory lane with an exhibit currently on display at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York, Madden NFL: 25 Years and Running. This special exhibit explores the landmark videogame series from the original John Madden Football in 1988 to the present day.

To celebrate this event and 25 great years of football, check out the history of Madden on the EA SPORTS Madden NFL page where you can see a feature on every version of the game, learn what was  added to the franchise that year and see every cover since the start. Each year includes gameplay photos and video to jog your memory.
