The high-intensity, twin-stick shooter Gatling Gears launches today on Xbox LIVE. In this classic top-down shooter -- from the team that brought you Greed Corp. -- you play as Max Brawley, a retired Gatling Gear pilot out to stop the Empire from ravaging the planet’s natural resources.
What is a Gatling Gear, you ask? It’s a sweet mech walker that you can customize with cool upgrades you earn by salvaging gears from defeated enemies. And there will be plenty of enemies to defeat -- your epic mission takes you through 30 unique areas in full online or offline co-op mode. Or you can test your skills in Survival mode as you go head-to-head with enemy forces in 10 rounds of arena-style combat chaos, complete with tanks, homing missiles, flame-throwers, cluster bombs, and of course a hailstorm of bullets.
