What happens when the worlds of hip 1960s advertising and bloodsucking fiends collide? You’re about to find out as Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks and The Vampire Diaries’ Sean Faris join the cast of Need for Speed The Run.

Faris takes on the game’s lead role of Jack Rourke, a man who finds himself in a desperate situation with only one way out: to win the illicit cross-country race known as The Run and claim the $25 million prize.

To do so, he’ll need someone to front him the $250K entrance fee. Enter Sam Harper, played by Hendricks. Sam is a tough and streetwise manager of drivers on the outlaw racing circuit, and she sees something in Jack that tells her to put her money on him.

Sam and Jack both bear an uncanny resemblance to their real-life actor counterparts thanks to the power of the Frostbite 2 game engine, which also delivers Need for Speed The Run’s amazing visuals and car physics. “I got a kick out of seeing myself in the game,” says Faris. “It’s totally me!” The game also features all-new performance capture technology that brings Sam, Jack, and the other characters to life like never before.
