As if you needed anything to get you even more excited about Star Wars: The Old Republic, Chronicle Books has just released a gorgeous new full-color volume to take you even deeper into the world of the game.

Available now, The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Old Republic features more than 150 pages of character sketches, interviews, artwork, and information about the game’s new weapons, starships, planets, and more. Your guides for your behind-the-scenes tour are authors Frank Parisi, an editor at Lucasfilm, Ltd. and former Star Wars Insider editor, and Daniel Erickson, writing director for BioWare’s Austin, Texas studio and lead writer for Star Wars: The Old Republic. They and the development team members they interview will give you unparalleled insight into the creation of one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year.

Also, be sure to check out the Bringing Down the Hammer trailer for a first glimpse of the Hammer, a powerful prototype battle station developed by the Republic. Thought to have been destroyed in the war, the Hammer has mysteriously re-emerged in the hands of the expansionist Advozsec. You can view the trailer below:
