Announced today at Microsoft’s gamescom press conference, legends like Pelé, Patrick Vieira, and Ruud Gullit are coming to FIFA 14 Ultimate Team exclusively to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year. Fans will be able to craft their Ultimate Team with their favorite legends alongside today’s stars. Each legend comes to the game with their own unique attributes and skills they displayed at the height of their career. These players will be randomly included in Gold Packs in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team starting when the Xbox One launches.

When boarding the plane to head home from E3 back in early June, I had a hard time wiping the smile from my face. I left that show with a renewed energy for the gaming industry, and huge excitement for our upcoming lineup of games from our talented EA studios around the world. Finally, after so many months…years, in fact…we were finally able to give gamers a peek at everything our teams had been hard at work on.
