Gotham City

The philanthropic Wayne family nurtured Gotham as the city rose to new heights, and some say the night Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered marked the beginning of Gotham's fall. The towers and trains that the Wayne's built still stand as sentinels in the city, but every day brings them closer to ruin. Now it is the darkest of America's cities, and only the rumors of the mysterious vigilante Batman give it hope.

Himalyan Monastery

Bruce Wayne travels to the icy peaks of the Himalayas to receive combat and agility training from his mentor, Henri Ducard. It is during his training with The League of Shadows that Bruce also learns to overcome his anger and conquer his fears. The Docks

The Narrows

The prime example of Gotham City's decline, the Narrows is a dangerous and dilapidated island linked to the mainland by a series of bridges. Populated by seedy, rundown buildings and rife with criminal activity, the Narrows is so treacherous, even cops will only go there in numbers. Gotham is full of frightening places, the Narrows is among the most terrifying.

Arkham Asylum

Wayne Manor

All of Gotham knows Wayne Manor as the stately home of the Wayne Family. Years after his parents death it is home only to playboy bachelor Bruce Wayne and his trustworthy butler Alfred. But in a city full of mysteries, even Wayne Manor has its secrets and it is from this estate that Bruce Wayne's butler, Alfred, transmits information and guidance to Batman as he begins his journey to save Gotham from the criminals and corruption that are threatening to destroy the city.
