Gotham City
The philanthropic Wayne family nurtured Gotham as the city rose to new heights,
and some say the night Thomas and Martha Wayne were murdered marked the beginning of Gotham's fall.
The towers and trains that the Wayne's built still stand as sentinels in the city, but every day
brings them closer to ruin. Now it is the darkest of America's cities, and only the rumors of the
mysterious vigilante Batman give it hope.
