Battlefield 1942 Sweepstakes Results - 2/28/03
From December 13, 2002 through February 10, 2003 we held the Battlefield 1942 newsletter sweepstakes for new subscribers of our newsletter. Those who signed up during this period became eligible to win one of five game packs that included: (1) Battlefield 1942 PC-CD game, (1) Battlefield 1942 Road to Rome PC-CD game, and (1) NVIDIA GeForce4 video card bundle.
Shortly after the sweepstakes ended we contacted 5 randomly selected winners. No one replied. So we then held a second random drawing because we really wanted to give away these prize packs. Sadly, the second chance drawing winners didn't write back either. For those who signed up during this period, thank you. For those who missed the winning emails, we feel sorry for you.
Stay tuned for future giveaways and make sure you check your email more often. Who knows, we may hold another sweepstakes to try and give these away again!

Showdown on the Hornet
On the eve of August 22, 2002, the USS Hornet was redeployed for combat in Alameda, California. On board, the first line of defense huddled around 46 monitors to ready their battle positions for a long night of combat as EA GAMES hosted the Battlefield 1942 Showdown.
