    I would prefer to play as a Clone Commando and customize my equipment as a commando, I'd wear beside katarn class commando armor, shield enhanced armor plates, a light version of a chaigun like the Z-6, a bacta dispenser and and a vibro blade with a small handheld shield and small shotgun and as explosive two EMP granades Addionaly I'd focus on strngrht of my trooper and give him a strenght powerup for each battle, to improve his strenght. He would have a close combat specialization. ...->

      A heavy anti Infantery who could be employed against multiple weaker units or one light armored more powerful opponent. This would be my perfect unit if would unlock everthing in the game and if there're the features I mentioned. The disadvantages of my trooper would be that he weaker againstother heavy armored units or/and opponens with great fire power and tanks and he would be slower than some other units.

      I don't know if you talk about the era of the Clone Wars OR the animated series, but if you mean the era you're wrong, maybe the prequel MOVIES themselves are crap, but not the era of the Clone Wars, look at the episode 3 and its battles, and the battlefront games, they're all well made, those massive battles of that time are perfect for this game, and it's better to have both eras than only one era, there're many people who want to play also during the Clone Wars era and not ONLY Galactic Civil War. The 2004 ''Clone Wars'' and ''THE Clone Wars'' series aren't as good as the original but dispite are very worth to seeing them, I admit I didn't like the 2008 ''The Clone Wars'' movie and the first season but after them it became interesting.

    I can't believe this is finally happening! I've been waiting for DICE to do a Star Wars: "Battlefield" since Battlefield 1942! I hated what Pandemic did with Star Wars: Battlefront I & II. They did such a horrible job. I remember getting all excited when Free Radical picked up development for BFIII - only for them to close down shortly after. I was crushed. I'd all but given up hope of a quality Star Wars: Battlefront game, but now it's finally happening and by the masters at DICE no less!!

      Do that mean you don’t like the two Battlefront games? Something what is special about Battlefront is that it is different than many other shooters. Nobody who really know the Battlefront experience would want Battlefield with Star Wars Skins. Pandemic did a really good job with Battlefront I & II for its time.

      I was severely upset with them. Neither were the epic, authentic Star Wars open battle games I was hoping for. The gameplay was okay at best, but Pandemic made so many stupid design choices in the name of gameplay and balance. Most of them had nothing to do with either. The rest, Pandemic just plain went about it the wrong way. That's not even counting the ridiculous lore inaccuracies they made - everything from using the wrong sfx and blaster bolt colors, assigning an interceptor-class starfighter to a bomber role, the "copy-and-paste" cockpits, equipping the wrong weapons on ships, etc. If I didn't know better I'd swear Pandemic didn't even watch the Star Wars films. That kind of stuff has nothing to do with gameplay or balance and killed the immersion of "being in Star Wars". BFII made a few improvements over the first, but screwed up (or completely left out) some of the things BFI actually got right. It's like Pandemic took two steps forward then five steps back with BFII.

    YYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH, so long we have been waiting! Seriously though, SWBF2 is my favorite shooter ever, and now it'll be here in magnificent HD and modern technologies. I hope they release it for PS3 though, that would be a huge bummer if it only came out for next-gen consoles....
