Is this Syndicate based on the 1993 game developed by Bullfrog?
Yes, Syndicate is Starbreeze’s re-imagination of the original cult classic for modern day platforms. We feel that the original nailed the RTS and RPG genre so well that we wanted to bring a new perspective to the game by releasing it as a first person shooter. We also created 9 co-op missions based on the original Syndicate, and know fans of the classic will be excited.
Why a first person shooter?
The idea has always been to reboot Syndicate as a FPS. We have taken the key concepts, themes, and settings of the original game and immersed the player in this world. Before players had to watch the action from above, but now they get to fight in it.
What is a DART 6 chip?
Your agent has been equipped with a weaponized neural implant known as the DART 6 chip. It allows the user to perceive environmental information in real-time, as well as breach other user’s chips and chip-based systems. How do I earn experience points?
By playing the game! Get a group of four skilled Agents together and you’ll find it’s much easier to level up and unlock new weapons and upgrades.
How many weapons are available?
You’ll be able to unlock 18 weapons and upgrade them in 82 different ways.
What are the benefits to having a Syndicate?
Creating a Syndicate means additional experience gained per mission and faster research. It is also a great way to list people you frequently play with in one place and join their game. Syndicates will also be listed on our Leaderboards.
How long is the co-op campaign?
Syndicate’s co-op campaign includes 9 missions that you’ll need to master and play through on every difficulty in order to get the full multiplayer experience.
How many people can play at the same time?
Syndicate supports an immersive 4-player online co-op experience, enabling up to four friends to battle their way through rival syndicates to establish market dominance.
Can I play through the co-op campaign alone?
Yes you can complete Syndicate’s co-op campaign alone. However, the gameplay is designed for 4 and our matchmaking system will help you do this. It is possible to play with less than four players via the “Private Match” option, but we encourage that you bring a full party.

What are my agent’s abilities?
Agents have a wide variety of weapons and breach applications that they can use with their DART 6 chip. These applications allow your agent to manipulate the digital world and breach everything from the ceiling fan to their enemies.
What are Agent levels?
Your Agent will gain experience points as they fight their way through rival Syndicates. You’ll be able to unlock new DART applications and abilities as your level rises.
How many chip upgrades can I unlock in Syndicate’s 4-player co-op campaign?
There are 25 chip upgrades that you can unlock in Syndicate.
How do I create my own Syndicate?

1. Select the “co-op” option from Syndicate’s main menu.

2. Use the shoulder buttons to navigate to the “Syndicate” tab.

3. Select “Create Syndicate” and enter all the information you’re prompted for.

4. You will now have your own Syndicate that you can invite friends to!

What can I do with my Syndicate?
If you create a Syndicate you can choose a logo, invite your friends, and track their progress. You also have the option of firing someone from the Syndicate should they no longer fulfill their role.
Does Syndicate allow couch co-op?
No, Syndicate does not support split-screen co-op.
Can I play in a private match?
Yes, if playing with strangers isn’t your style you can create a private room with just you and your friends.
What if one of my fellow Agents gets disconnected in the middle of a session?
Syndicate’s matchmaking system is designed to keep parties full at all times. This means that if a party member drops out in the middle of a mission it will find a new Agent and put them into the game right where you are. No going back to the menu required.
Do I need to be connected to the Internet to install and run Syndicate?
In order to install Syndicate for the first time on PC, you must be connected to the Internet. After installation, you may play in offline or online mode as you wish.
