Necessary apps to get started

Grab Google SketchUp by clicking here.

You do not need the Pro version - download the free version, and you are ready to go.

You can download Google Earth by clicking here.

You will need it to place your model on the surface of the globe.

Get familiar with the environment

Google SketchUp is easy to use, even if you are creating a 3D model for the first time. You have many options in order to learn the program:

Share your work with the world

• • You must have a Google Account in order to upload your work to the Google 3D Warehouse, so that it can be evaluated for inclusion in the official selection. Do you have an GMail e-mail address? If so, you are ready to go. If not, grab a new Google Account by clicking here.
  
  

• • Open your model in Google SketchUp
  
  
• • Open the File menu
  
  
• • Open the 3D Warehouse menu item
  
  
• • Select Share Model...

Very important: you must add the "commandandconquer3" tag (without quotes) when submitting your model. Failure to do so will result in your model never being evaluated.
