EA SPORTS ambassador and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart drops down 1,529 places in 'Joe Hart's EA SPORTS Player Performance Index League' having collected a total of 281 Fantasy Premier League points in December which means he ends the month in 1,951st place.
Despite Joe’s slide down the mini league table he did actually manage to collect 20 more Fantasy Premier League points than he did in the month of November!
EA SPORTS, who are the Official Sports Technology Partner of The Premier League, have set up a Fantasy Premier League Mini League to give football fans the chance to take on England’s Number 1 goalkeeper. As part of this partnership The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index has an effect on your Fantasy Premier League team. In Fantasy League, the three best performing players in each match according to the EA SPORTS PPI receive additional bonus points. 3 points will be awarded to the highest scoring player, 2 to the second best and 1 to the third.
Swansea City striker Michu was arguably Joe's star performer within the Fantasy Premier League during December. The Spaniard scored 5 goals during the month earning him an impressive haul of 31 Fantasy Premier League points including 4 points provided by The EA SPORTS PPI Bonus Points system.
Joe admits is been tough determining which players to select for his team during the month of December.
“With so many players gaining plenty of Fantasy Premier League points for people's teams, it’s been tricky deciding who would make the best captain or which formation would suit my team the most”, he said. “I’m certainly looking forward to pushing on up 'Joe Hart's EA SPORTS Player Performance Index League' during the 2nd half of the season though”.
Joe’s performances between the sticks continue to see him as the highest ranked goalkeeper in The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index where he is currently positioned in 35th place overall. The EA SPORT Player Performance Index tells us that Joe covered 15.9 miles during the course of his 5 Barclays Premier League appearances in December. This means he covered an average distance of 3.18 miles per game which suggests the England goalkeeper is always on his toes and ready for action.
The Index uses a comprehensive range of statistics to provide objective analysis about which players are the best and why. You can keep up to speed with how Joe and the rest of the Barclays Premier League players are performing this season by visiting The EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.
Each month EA SPORTS will randomly select Fantasy Premier League players who successfully finish higher than Joe Hart in ‘Joe Hart's EA SPORTS Player Performance Index League' to win prizes courtesy of EA SPORTS. December’s lucky winners are as follows…
