Get an inside look at the making of Michael Bay’s new TV commercial for Need For Speed: The Run.
With Michael Bay’s Need for Speed The Run trailer nearly unlocked on the Need For Speed Facebook page, the fast car franchise has dropped a second veil, releasing a brand new “making of” video for all its racing (and action) fans. The three-minute clip features the king of the car crash hard at work and brings us even more footage of the lovely Christina Hendricks.
Michael Bay is no stranger to Need for Speed; he used to play it as a kid. Of course, that was back before in-game cinematics looked anything like cinema. The footage Bay works with for the trailer is on a completely different level.
“I was very impressed with this Need for Speed crew,” Bay says, discussing the game’s polished cutscenes, “They have a very filmic look to their stuff, [and they’re] very good at their directional camera work.”
Need for Speed The Run is available to pre-order on Origin for PC.
