Salute to Superfans: How Best Friends Met Through Bejeweled

We all love video games, but some just love them more than others. In this series, we’ll be highlighting some of our most passionate fans from around the world.
There are few bonds in life as strong as the ones you make with your friends.
And the friends that you form while playing video games can be some of the strongest you’ll make in your life.
Heidi Rothstein’s passion for Bejeweled led her to become an admin for Bejeweled Blitz Gems on Facebook, where she met Ines Rojas, the group’s founder, and Tiago Miguel Lopez, another admin.
“We got to know each other very well without ever actually meeting, when we got invited to visit you all in Seattle, needless to say we were incredibly excited,” says Rothstein. “We finally met for the first time when we arrived at the airport. TEARS came pouring down our faces the moment we saw each other. It was such an incredible feeling to meet them after having a really tight friendship through Bejeweled Blitz and Facetime!”
The opportunity to fly out to PopCap Studios in Seattle to meet the team was a dream come true.
