Scientist Journal - Entry #8
Posted by Scientist at 06:30PM on Wednesday, February, 08, 2012
The Commander came by today. Is he here because of the new specimen that's coming in? Does he know I've been snooping around? Is he trying to silence me? Maybe I'm just being paranoid ... I'm not less of a man if he frightens me, right?

Scientist Journal - Entry #7
Posted by Scientist at 06:14PM on Thursday, January, 12, 2012
What a strange day. First, one of those darn laser turrets shot my best goggles - right off my desk! Then, while I was searching for a new pair, I stumbled upon some kind of ... quarantine in the lab. I'm going to dig a little deeper, but so far I've found no records of an incident happening down there. What are they hiding from us?

Scientist Journal - Entry #6
Posted by Scientist at 12:16PM on Thursday, January, 12, 2012
Looks like they’ve been making quite a few omelets around here. I must admit that I feel conflicted about the work we do, but this alien biology is just amazing! I simply can’t pass up this opportunity to advance our own understanding of the universe … also a Nobel prize would be GREAT.

Scientist 127 tells me that a new specimen is arriving at the lab today. I’m so excited, I may have peed a little! They even brought in a bunch of armed soldiers, just to keep us safe. It's nice to know they're looking out for us down here.

Scientist Journal - Entry #3
Posted by Scientist at 12:46PM on Tuesday, December, 13, 2011
So after a lot "highly classified' this and "release of liability" that, they finally said it: aliens. I'll be studying LIVE alien specimens! This is so gosh darn exciting - I don't want to jinx it, but I think things are finally turning around for me.

All Settled In
Posted by at 02:13PM on Tuesday, December, 20, 2011
Well I'm all settled in and should be briefed on my assignment later today. Now if I could just figure out how to take this pressure pill ... nobody likes the bends! They told us no cameras but, heck, I snapped a few pics anyway.

I'm packed and ready to go! Today I begin my six-month contract with D.A.W.N., as heading up research at their off-site facility (I haven't seen it yet, but I'm told it's really state-of-the-art). Check out my nifty new ID card!
