EA Tiburon Likes to Celebrate

Career News

The Orlando employees like to have a little fun… alright, a lot of fun. And you can’t have a lot of fun without family and friends, which is why every fall and winter the EA SPORTS Tiburon studio in Orlando opens its doors to employees and their families for Halloween and Winter Holiday celebrations!

For Halloween the 6 story studio is transformed into a themed playground for employees and their children; allowing for each cube and office space to be used for trick or treating. In the past, the studio has become a haunted mansion with haunted dining room, nursery, library, scullery and bedroom complete with their very own employee actors who volunteered to become the ghostly cast to interact with victims (or families). Last year, Tiburon ‘City’ was hit with a toxic outbreak where security video footage was captured of a zombie chasing an employee afterhours in the garage. Our studio was retrofitted with a scare zone themed Town Hall, Hospital, High School, street and police station. Once again employee volunteer actors became police officers, hazmat team, high school student zombies, nurse and patient zombies. And of course, they also had a safe zone for the little ones.

Like Halloween, the studio has held Winter Holiday events that seem to get bigger every year. Tiburon employees have seen their lobby transformed into a Dickenson themed setting complete with scrooge, old English fare, a steam train, and visit from ‘Father Christmas’. Other themes have included a 1940s New York with a central park styled synthetic ice rink that the kids could skate on with real ice skates and also included pictures with live reindeer out front. Last year they turned to Dr. Seuss and created a colorful ‘Who-li-day’ with the Grinch himself and real snow pits for the kids to play in!

EA SPORTS Tiburon obviously takes our celebrations seriously…
