How have your past experiences helped you adjust to working at EA?

I think it’s safe to say that one of the very first things people learn about me is my love for lacrosse, and it’s for a good reason. After all, the sport has continuously played a big role in my life ever since I decided to try out for my high school varsity team as an eager (but completely inexperienced) high school freshman. It has taught me how important it is to take risks and try new things, to push outside of my comfort zone, to have fun while working hard, and to never stop learning. It has taught me about how vital teamwork, perseverance, and determination are to success. Most importantly, it has taught me about passion, about what it means to be passionate, and how people perform so much better when they’re passionate about what they’re doing.

I am grateful for all of the values and lessons lacrosse has taught me, but I am also grateful that I have been given the opportunity to apply these lessons during my internship at EA. I was able to step outside of my comfort zone and learn how to use new tools and programs. I have had the privilege to not only surround myself with, but also interact and have fun with, other interns and my team, which consists of people who just genuinely love what they’re doing. (Of course, it also helps that everyone is fun and friendly!)

Tell us something we don't know about you.

In my spare time, I'm an avid practitioner of tripping over flat surfaces.
