The Jacksonville Tribute Fund
An update on the Jacksonville Tribute Fund detailing how to apply for benefits.
Update
Today we want to share a Jacksonville Tribute Fund update. We can’t thank you all enough for the outpouring of support that has continued in recent weeks.
The National Compassion Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit, will distribute 100 percent of the collected contributions directly to the Jacksonville victims – a service they have performed for countless other communities affected by tragedy. The Fund published its protocols in English and Spanish here, explaining the criteria it uses for providing contributions to victims. Those protocols are open for feedback and public comment until October 16, 2018.
To apply for benefits, please sign up by filling out this form here, and the National Compassion Fund will be in contact with you. Applications must be submitted by November 27, 2018 to be considered for benefits and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian apply on their behalf. The fund is scheduled to close on November 28, 2018 with distributions to victims starting roughly one month later.
