SEASON-LONG UPGRADES

After receiving the most community votes, EA SPORTS FC™ 27 cover star Kylian Mbappé lines up alongside Chelsea’s Morgan Rogers, FC Bayern’s Pernille Harder, and more.

Destined for Glory Player Items can earn upgrades throughout the entire football season based on real-world performances in their domestic league, with milestones determined by the player’s position.

GO THE DISTANCE

Take on the long-range Destined for Glory Exhibition, with 10 daily attempts. Complete Objectives including using a Destined for Glory Player Item in three matches to earn rewards.

The second week of Destined for Glory delivers the first Ultimate Gauntlet of EA SPORTS FC™ 27. Played over two rounds, you will have 10 daily attempts to enter the Gauntlet. Complete various play and win Objectives to earn rewards

Destined for Glory will also feature two Rush Events, with a themed Flash Rush Event scheduled in the second week of the campaign.

TRANSFORM YOUR TALENT

Destined for Glory brings new ways to upgrade your current playing squad with free Evolutions over two weeks alongside an earnable Evolution consumable in Ultimate Gauntlet offering an additional repeat of an existing Evolution. This includes one Training Camp Evolution for each week of the campaign.

Cosmetic Evolutions also return in Destined for Glory, with Regular and Premium Destined for Glory Badges earned by playing and completing the Event Objective group.

When does Destined for Glory upgrade tracking start?

Destined for Glory Player Items can earn upgrades throughout the entire football season starting from September 25, based on real-world performances in their domestic league

How long will Destined for Glory players continue to receive upgrades?

Destined for Glory items will only be upgraded based on league performances in the 2026/‌27 domestic season.

What happens if a Destined for Glory item is transferred or loaned to a different club?

If a Destined for Glory player leaves their current club, they will no longer be eligible for upgrades.

How are goals, assists and clean sheets awarded?

Goals and assists for attacking players will be awarded based on Opta data and are combined together. For example, if a player has 3 goals and 3 assists, they will receive the +1 PlayStyle upgrade.

For defensive players, clean sheets will be awarded if the player's team ends a match with a clean sheet and the player featured in the match by either starting the game or by being subbed in during the match.
