The Curse of Morg Event

October 16, 2026

The Curse of Morg rolled into San Vansterdam on October 13, bringing fog, new event activities, and plenty of ways to collect Morg’s Tribute. Starting now, you can hunt down Glyphs of Morg, take on new event content across the city, and cash in your Tribute at the Altars of Morg for free rewards. Then on October 20, the event levels up with more activities and Open Access to the Isle of Morg for all players through November 3.

Something’s off in San Van. The fog’s getting thicker, the streets feel emptier, and Morg’s influence is starting to show up all over the city. The ferry may be down for now, but there’s already plenty going on before the island opens back up.

All signs of this blight point toward the Isle of Grom. There is no Water Taxi to Grom now, but the whispers say that something big is happening on October 20th. In the meantime, a decrepit altar waits in the mist, a grim monument of devotion to Morg, The Bail Collector. Whisperers of the asphalt have long told of a parasitic darkness lurking beneath the wheels, a demon that feeds on the violence of the fall. It hunts in the split-second of a wreck, greedily harvesting the teeth, keys, loose change, and splintered wood sent flying into the air when a skater slams against the earth.

Gather Morg’s Tribute

The currency of this cursed realm is not gold or coin - Morg demands the wreckage of your failures. You must gather Morg’s Tribute - the jagged, broken teeth knocked loose during your gnarliest slams. You can start gathering Morg’s Tribute on October 13th.

  • Teeth are earned by completing event-specific tasks, harvesting the Glyphs of Morg, and shredding through activities across San Van.
  • All tribute-earning activities (Bounties and Harvesting the Glyphs of Morg) remain active once they unlock until the very end of the event. There are no daily or weekly challenges that expire.
  • Offer up your Tributes to Morg starting October 16th, when the Altars of Morg appear throughout San Van, to unlock the Cursed Rewards.

Glyphs of Morg

To Harvest Morg’s Tribute on the Glyphs of Morg, pay close attention to the markings of the glyph. Acquiring Morg’s Tribute from the Glyphs requires completing the ritual of the markings. There are 100 Glyphs to find.

Offer Morg’s Tribute to The Altars of Morg

A pale fog has choked out the sun, and physical, accursed shrines known as the Altars of Morg have risen from the concrete at key spots across San Vansterdam and the Isle of Grom, starting October 16th. These creepy monuments are your only way to score the event's exclusive gear.

  • Approach any Altar with your gathered tribute of teeth to initiate an "Offer Tribute" interaction. This is a direct transaction with the underworld to trade your stash for cursed loot.
  • If you approach empty-handed, the shrine stays stone-cold and silent. You must carry the exact amount of tribute required to trigger the exchange.
  • Once you have bled the Altar completely dry and stripped every single unique reward from its prize pool, its dark magic will wither away, and it will be closed to you forever.

The Isle of Morg: Open Access from Oct 20 - Nov 3

Once the island re-opens on Oct 20th (Open Access for all, no Rip Chips or skate.Premium Pass required), it’s undeniable that Morg has taken over Grom. From the pump house to the hill bomb, Morg’s malevolent influence has spread throughout the island.

Arcane symbols, skeletons, overgrown and decaying foliage, the darkness of the night sky, the full moon, and creeping fog overwhelm the island with his presence.

Cursed Rewards from Altars of Morg

If you want to score the event's most exclusive, free gear, you’ve got to face the Altars - meaning you’ll need to cough up your hard-earned tributes to appease Morg and claim your cursed loot.

Many of the Morg cosmetics are directly tied to giving tribute to the Altars.

  • Morg is bound by a strict knock-out code—he will never hand you the same relic twice. Every offering you make is guaranteed to spit out a brand-new, unowned reward until the Altar is cleared.
  • The items you can acquire from the Altars of Morg unlock randomly after submitting your Tributes:
    • Ghosted Deck
    • Brass Spiderweb Rail
    • Tix Pack
    • Online Ceramic Bats T-Shirt
    • Coffin Sleeper Sticker
    • Ancient Coffin QD Item

KNOWN ISSUES

  • UI Bug: Event Bounties incorrectly display in the UI as "Reppin Daks" even though they do not contribute to Crew Rep.
  • In rare cases, Block Party Bounties that require a total number of points do not give full credit for all points earned.

See you on the Isle,
