Die mutige, freche, feurige und wilde Kairi Imahara ist sich nicht zu schade, andere zu schmieren und das Gesetz ein wenig zu beugen. Als sie noch ein Kind war, stahl sie einen Titan. Er gehörte ihrem Vater: Rufzeichen Viper. Sie wollte genauso wie er sein, als sie aufwuchs. Doch am nächsten Tag brach er zu einer Mission auf und kehrte nie mehr zurück. Gewissermaßen trat sie dennoch in seine Fußstapfen: Es war zwar kein Titan, aber ihr Schiff ermöglichte ihr einen ordentlichen Lebensstandard. Ihr Privatleben war jedoch eher das Gegenteil. Tagsüber schmuggelte sie wertvolle Fracht, und nachts lieferte sie sich in Bars Trinkduelle mit Gesetzlosen und Söldnern. Doch trotz Ladys, Alkohol und ihrer Liebe zum Himmel war sie besessen davon, den Mann zu finden, der ihren Vater in die Gefahr geschickt hatte: seinen Kommandanten Kuben Blisk.
Sie spürte Blisk auf und war bereit, ihn zu töten. Aber er sprach respektvoll von ihrem Vater – und forderte sie auf, es besser zu machen. Sie schoss trotzdem auf ihn. Aber nicht, um ihn zu töten. Es ging um das Wissen, ihn zu kriegen. Und um die Karte für die Apex-Spiele, die sie Blisk aus der Hand nahm.
Mithilfe des intakten Flugkerns des Viper-Northstars baute sie zu Ehren ihres Vaters ein elegantes, neues Jetpack. Und dann konnte Kairi endlich alleine abheben ... noch dazu in einer Version des Titans ihres Vaters, der nun schließlich doch ihr gehörte.
