Welcome to Season 1 of NHL 26 HUT. This year’s launch brings one of the deepest day-one content drops ever in Ultimate Team. From superstar Captains and rookie standouts to all-time Icons and evolving XP-powered upgrades, Season 1 is packed with ways to shape your roster.

CHECK MY GAME

In Season 1, Check My Game brings stars front and center. Complete sets and unlock top-tier talent at 85 OVR. Fresh Ice players are also available to trade in through select Check My Game sets, so the progress you’ve made in earlier events can carry forward into this new program.

XP PATH

Season 1’s XP Path is headlined by Macklin Celebrini (87 OVR), available as this season’s chase player. Alongside Celebrini, five additional Power Up players can be upgraded step by step to 85 OVR by progressing along the path.

XP Season 1 players, including Beniers, Bedard, Smith, Quinn, and Celebrini, can be upgraded by exchanging XP Season 1 tokens in NHL HUT.

The rewards for the Road to 26 Objectives you completed in NHL 25 are now live in-game. Check your inbox for your Dustin Wolf, Macklin Celebrini, Lane Hutson 83 OVR choice pack New sets also allow you to trade in these rewards for rookie items if you’d like.

RANKED

Ranked divisions in HUT Season 1: Silver 1, Diamond 1, Ultimate. Once you reach these divisions, you cannot be relegated below them.

At the start of Season, 1 Silver 1, Diamond 1 and Ultimate will serve as the milestone tiers that you will not be able to drop below.

Everyone who finished above Silver 1 during our Early Access window will begin this ranked season at Silver 1, you will immediately receive the Season 1 Bronze tier rewards after your first game. Your starting position for each season will be dictated by your current seasons results.

"Climb the ladder and obtain exclusive ranked players choice packs featuring 87 and 85 overall player cards with various stats and team logos."

Every tier will include an exclusive BND player choice pack that includes Gary Roberts, Bobby Holik, Brian Campbell and Mike Green. The overall of the choice pack will be dictated by the ranked tier you achieve. The higher the tier the higher the choice pack overalls, beginning at 82 OVR and as high as 87 OVR if you hit Ultimate.

Also be on the lookout for the Ultimate Rank jersey exclusively available for those who hit the highest tier.

Objectives/Moments/Cup Chase

Be on the lookout for new Cup Chase objectives and Season 1 HUT Moments, showcasing the new programs for each season (Heros, Icons and Rookie) to earn even more for your team.

We’ve also changed one of the Cup Chase rewards from requiring you to go undefeated to reaching the Cup Chase Finals and added additional Objectives for Cup Chase.
