• EA PLAY 2016 FIFA Ultimate Team Play to Give Cup Tips on how to compete for an Untradeable Rare Mega Pack and Premium Coin Pack

Starting June 12, participate in the FIFA Ultimate Team™ Play to Give Cup in FIFA 16 to celebrate one of our Play to Give charities: Code.org.

We’re committed to helping support and foster the development future game-makers. Code.org has committed to expanding access to computer science and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color.

To help you get started in the Play to Give Cup in FIFA 16*, we gathered all the information and tips that you will need to succeed:

    • The prizes: You’ll be rewarded an Untradeable Rare Mega Pack featuring 30 rare items – with a mix of both players and consumables – with your first tournament win. Also you’ll get a Premium Coin Pack with at least 4,000 coins for every tournament victory after that.
    • Nationality is key: To field a squad in the tournament, it must contain 18 players (11 starters and 7 substitutes) from the same country.
    • You should focus on building a team that fits your strength and play style. As your squad consists of players of the same nationality, it’s going to have 100 Chemistry already. To optimize your team, you should check out our guides on the most common formations and on how to build a winning squad.
    • Expect to encounter lots of teams built around English, Spanish and Brazilian players as they have the most players in FUT to choose from. French players will also be popular, due to their attacking options.
    • Try out different line-ups and formations until you find a combination that fits your play style – don’t stress out if you don’t win on your first attempt.

We’re committed to supporting organizations that give back to player communities and foster a more inclusive environment in video games while emboldening future game-makers.

EA will be donating a total of $1 million to five nonprofit organizations through our Play to Give program during EA PLAY: Code.org, HeForShe, Code2040, SpecialEffect and the National Center for Women & Information Technology.

Celebrate Play to Give by completing any of the five in-game challenges.
