On Friday in Germany, Bayern Munich continued their goal scoring domination, this time defeating FC Koln 4-1. Like their two previous matches, it was a complete team effort, which included a goal and an assist from Franck Ribéry.

On Sunday, It was a wild eight goal thriller between Werder Bremen and VfL Wolfsburg, with the visitors defeating Bremen 3-5. Wolfsburg’s Bas Dost continues to impress, who finished the match with two goals and an assist. In 12 league appearances this season, Dost leads the club with 13 goals.

Philippe Coutinho’s 75^th minute wonder-strike was the difference as Liverpool defeated Manchester City 2-1 on Sunday. The win prevented City from narrowing Chelsea’s lead atop the Premier League table.
