    Gesture Controls

    Passing

    Contextual Passing

Control: TAP or DOUBLE TAP on Player or into Space

    >

Gesture Passes are a great complimentary action in the game, allowing you to make difficult passes with ease while focusing on your Player’s dribbling.

The system will contextually choose the most suitable pass type for you, taking into consideration the distance, opponent player’s position, and where you tapped:

Tapping on or behind a player will initiate and attempt to pass the ball to the player's feet.

Tapping in front of a player will attempt to place the ball into space.

You can choose between controlling the elevation of your gesture passes or letting the AI decide your pass on "Settings", "Preferences", then toggling "Tap/double-tap gesture passes" on or off.

With "Tap/double-tap gesture passes" toggled on a single tap will trigger passes on the ground, such as Ground Pass or Through Pass, or even Low Crosses. A Double Tap will trigger only lobbed Passes, such as Lob Passes, Lofted Through Passes and regular Crosses.

With "Tap/double-tap gesture passes" toggled off the AI will decide the most suitable pass type and elevation for you.

    Shooting

    Shot / Volley / Header

Control: SWIPE in Straight Line towards the Goal

    >

Gesture Shots are the quickest way to release a powerful shot. The power of the shot depends on the speed of your Swipe Gesture. Be careful not to swipe too fast and overpower the shot, which could lead to shooting over the Goal.

    Finesse Shot

Control: SWIPE in Curved Line towards the Goal

    >

Allows you to trigger a curling shot by swiping in a curved line. The amount of curl does not change depending on your gesture. Your player will always apply the maximum spin possible, based on his Curve Attribute.

    Chip Shot

    Control: TAP on the Goal

You can simply tap on the Goal and your player will trigger a Chip shot. This is ideally used when the Opponent GK is rushing you and you quickly want to pull off a chip shot.

    Defending

    Press Mark

    Control: TAP the Opponent Dribbler

You can initiate a Press Marking behavior by simply tapping the Opponent Dribbler.

    Slide Tackle

    Control: SWIPE while Defending

At any point, you can swipe across the screen for your Defender to trigger a Sliding Tackle towards the Opponent Dribbler.

    Switching

    Control: TAP on your teammate

Gesture Switching allows you to personally select a teammate you would like to switch to and control. A very effective way to control your defense, especially with Manual or Air Ball Switch setting.

    Clearance

Control: SWIPE in your Own Half

When in Possession of the ball and being in your own half of the pitch, the Swipe Action will trigger a Clearance. Clearances are the most effective way to get rid of the ball as quickly as possible in dangerous situations. We also recommend using this in Defensive Header situations.

    2nd Defender

Control: Double TAP on the field

While Defending Double Tap anywhere on the field to call a teammate to help pressure the Dribbler. You can Double Tap again in order to Toggle this behavior On or Off. This is a very effective way to retrieve the ball. However, use with caution, as this not only drains the teammate’s stamina faster, but also can pull the teammate out of his position and create space for the Opponent to play passes into.

    GK Rush

    Control: TAP on your GK

At any point, you can call your GK to rush out of his zone and pressure/tackle the Opponent Dribbler. You can Tap the GK again to Toggle this behavior On or Off. Ideally used when the opponent is on a breakaway and you have no Defenders left to stop him.
