INTRODUCING CLUB CHALLENGE: A NEW MODE IN EA SPORTS FC™ MOBILE
Welcome to the Club Challenge Deep Dive! We’re thrilled to finally unveil a brand-new mode in EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile called "Club Challenge," launching on September 24th with the Anniversary Update. This mode is packed with authentic features and we can’t wait for you to dive in and experience it for yourselves. Let’s break it down!
AUTHENTIC TEAM PLAY IN A TOURNAMENT KNOCKOUT FORMAT
In Club Challenge, step into the shoes of your favorite LALIGA EA SPORTS and Premier League teams, complete with full, authentic lineups. Club Challenge emphasizes realism by allowing you to play as the actual teams. This means you'll be able to lead teams like Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Liverpool through a knockout tournament format to win silverware!
HEAD-TO-HEAD COMPETITION
Club Challenge is a PvP mode where you'll compete against other users in H2H matches, ensuring no two matches are the same. Each match in Club Challenge brings skills to the forefront, demanding top performances from you and your squad to advance!
LALIGA EA SPORTS AND PREMIER LEAGUE CHALLENGES
The mode features two distinct leagues: the LALIGA EA SPORTS Challenge and the Premier League Challenge, each with fully authentic teams. Will you choose Real Madrid with their dynamic attacking lineup, or opt for Manchester City’s precision possession game?
REWARDS FOR YOUR ULTIMATE TEAM™
While you play as the authentic teams in Club Challenge, your efforts will fuel the progress of your Ultimate Team. Playing and progressing through Club Challenge will earn you rewards for your Ultimate Team, such as Players and Gems.
IMMERSIVE NEW BROADCAST PACKAGE
To enhance the authenticity and excitement of the Club Challenge mode, EA SPORTS FC Mobile is introducing a new broadcast package for both LALIGA EA SPORTS and Premier League.
- New English Commentary Team: Guy Mowbray and Sue Smith capture the intensity and passion of each match with their free-flowing commentary. (English-only)
- Team Walkouts and Overlays: Authentic team walkouts that recreate the pre-match, live match, and post-match atmosphere of gameday.
- Trophies: Play for the authentic LALIGA EA SPORTS and Premier League trophies.
- Much More: Additional visual and audio elements that will make you feel like you're part of a live football broadcast.

Welcome to the EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Football Centre! A new Season-long Program that will be your new hub for fresh and exciting content that ties in with real-world football matches! From Key Matches, Showdown Exchanges, Team of the Week, Player of the Month and more, there is plenty to explore.
Let’s dive right in.
WHAT'S NEW
The What’s New Chapter is the spotlight for special moments in world football. Standout moments in football will be highlighted and celebrated with claimable Player Items for special occasions. Think Moments Players, End-of-an-Era Players, and more.
This will also be your hub that showcases new Showdown Exchanges, Key Matches and TOTW Players. Don’t miss out on any new content and be sure to check out What’s New frequently!
KEY MATCHES
Rivalries, derbies, and epic showdowns. From playing Key Matches to completing Showdown Exchanges, experience the thrill of real-world football in Key Matches.
Key Matches
Play real-world football matchups with Key Matches, mimicking epic derbies and rivalries where you play as the real-world teams. Complete Key Matches to earn Football Centre Points, which are used in the TOTW Chapter to claim TOTW Player Items.
Showdown Exchanges
Choose your side for upcoming matches and see your choices receive OVR upgrades. Complete the Exchange to claim Player Items that receive OVR upgrades depending on the results of real-world football matches.
See below how the OVR Upgrades are determined:
- Players from the winning team will receive a +2 OVR upgrade.
- Players from both teams will receive a +1 OVR upgrade in a draw.
- Players from the losing team will not receive an OVR upgrade.
TOTW
Team of the Week
Standout performers from the week past take centre stage in Team of the Week! Challenge the current TOTW squad using your main lineup to earn Football Centre Points! Get their Player Items in the TOTW Gallery using your Football Centre Points that are earned by completing Key Matches and TOTW Challenges.
Each TOTW Player Item could receive OVR Upgrades. For example, if a Player gets selected in the first week and again in the 5th week then he may receive an OVR Upgrade, a new Action shot, and updated artwork.
Every Player will only receive one TOTW Item throughout the Season. That means that if you have already claimed a Player, you cannot claim him again from the Gallery and his claim node will be replaced with a generic, non-TOTW Player, Reward.
POTM
Player of the Month returns to FC Mobile! Celebrate Players from top-tier Leagues that stood out throughout the month. Complete POTM Exchanges to get a POTM Player!
POTM Players are chosen from the following Leagues:
- Premier League
- LALIGA EA SPORTS
- Bundesliga
- Serie A Enilive
- Ligue 1 McDonald’s

There will be no season reset this year, allowing you to continue building on your current team’s progress and achievements. From the Football Centre—a brand-new hub connecting you to the pulse of real-world football—to the thrilling Club Challenge with top leagues like LALIGA EA SPORTS and the Premier League, the Anniversary update is packed with opportunities to deepen your engagement with the game.

NEW FEATURES
FOOTBALL CENTRE
Our Anniversary Update introduces the Football Centre, which allows you to engage with real-world football more deeply through features like Team of the Week (TOTW), Player of the Month (POTM), and Moments Players. It also includes the opportunity to participate in featured matches that mirror current real-world football events.
PRE-RANKED PLAYER ITEMS
Pre-Ranked Players are back! This means that you can earn Player Items with Ranks and Levels already equipped, meaning you don’t need to use as many Training Levels or Rank-Ups on them. You can expect to see Pre-Ranked Player Items in Exchanges, Packs, and Milestone Rewards within Events.
CHANGE USERNAME
You’ve asked, and we’ve listened! With our Anniversary Update, we're excited to introduce the much-requested User Renaming feature. You’ll be able to change your username one time after the Anniversary Update goes live. Make sure to choose carefully, as for any additional name changes, it will only be available monthly within an offer in the Store.

Play as your favorite teams from LALIGA EA SPORTS and the Premier League, controlling actual lineups in thrilling, real-time matches. Experience the fervor of leading teams like Real Madrid or Manchester City through intense knockout tournaments.
Each match brings the excitement of a live broadcast right to your fingertips, complete with authentic commentary, team walkouts, and the electric atmosphere of stadium games. Win to keep progressing and earning more rewards for your Ultimate Team!
GAMEPLAY ENHANCEMENTS
Over the past few months, we’ve taken your feedback to heart, pinpointing some of the most pressing gameplay enhancements to make this release one of our most exciting yet.
- AI Difficulty Divergence: Notice distinct differences between AI difficulty levels, with enhanced challenges on Professional, World Class, and especially Legendary settings.
- Manager Mode Passing: Ground through pass reliability and accuracy have been improved, ensuring your strategic passing plays come off more smoothly.
IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES
This update brings a series of quality-of-life enhancements designed to elevate your gameplay experience:
- Featured Crests in Locker Room: A new "Featured Crests" section has been added to the HOME TEAM selection in the LOCKER ROOM. This feature allows you to quickly identify and select your main team by showcasing top team crests.
- Improved Usability in Player Inventory: The interface will now remain on the recently selected player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
- Filtering Capability Added: We’ve added more filter conditions in the TRAINING, EXCHANGE, and TRANSFER MARKET to help you easily spot which players are tradable and which aren’t.. Now, managing your lineup and making smart moves is faster than ever!
BUG FIXES
- Player Inventory Navigation: The interface will now remain on the recently selected player in Player Inventory instead of defaulting back to the first player, enhancing navigation and efficiency.
- Campaign Chapter Navigation: We fixed an issue where you would be brought to the first chapter of an event when moving between event chapters. Now you can move between campaign chapters without being redirected to the first chapter, for smoother progression.
- Enhanced Stability: We’ve tackled some pesky bugs that were interrupting your gameplay on Android and Apple devices. Thanks to your reports, we've improved stability to ensure your experience is better than ever.
