Founders FAQs
Before you get started on your Founders journey, here are some important FAQs to help you navigate this exciting time!
- What does it mean to be a EA SPORTS FC Mobile Founder?
- Founder is status given to all players who enter into the Founders event and follow the in-game prompts to become a “Founder”, starting August 24 UTC. Founders can receive special content like Player Items, User Logos, and access to the Founders Premium Star Pass in the new FC Mobile season.
- How do I become a Founder?
- Enter the Founders event between August 24 and September 26 and follow the in-game prompts to become a Founder.
- Is it free to become a Founder?
- Yes it’s free. You must go in game and follow the in-game prompts.
- Can I become a Founder if I join after EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile launches?
- No, Founder status is only open to players who register before the new season begins. Players who joined after EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile launches will have access to different content.
- What is a Pioneer Player?
- Pioneer Players are untradeable Player Items you can earn from the Founders event that will carry over with you into the new season (at a lower OVR). Pioneer Players will need to be kept in your inventory to successfully carry over. This means you should not use them as Training, Rank Up, or Discard them if you want to have them in the new season.
- What is the difference between Founders Players and Pioneer Players?
- Founders Players are Player Items you earn from the Founders event. Some of them can be bought/sold from the Market.
- Pioneer Players are untradeable Player Items you can earn from specific sections of the Founders event and Store. They cannot be bought/sold from the Market.
- Will any of my Scouting Points or Club Points carry over into the new season?
- No, all Founders event currencies are only usable in the current Founders event. Use them to earn player items and rewards in the Founders event.
- Will Founders Player Items receive new Dynamic Images?
- We are working hard to update some Founders Player Items with new Dynamic Images from the 2023-24 season to showcase them in their new kits.
- Will my final team's OVR influence the rewards I receive in the next season?
- We will share more information soon about how your team’s progress will count towards rewards in the new season.
Become a Founder
First up, press the “Be a Founder” button to become a Founder and unlock exclusive rewards in this season and the next.
Pressing the button gives you a Founders Logo, a Founders Token, and access to the Milestone Rewards in the current season. In the next season you’ll receive access to the Premium Star Pass
Milestones are unlocked throughout the event as more players become a Founder.
Milestone Rewards
Log into the Founders event before September 25th to claim these rewards.
Club Building
Play Daily Matches and Skill Games to earn Scouting Points. Every week, there will be an additional Skill Game and Match available.
Scouting Points are used on the Reward Path to claim Founders Players, or use them in the special Exchange.
Earn additional Scouting Points by completing Quests, trading in Pass Points, and trading in Retro Points.

Milestone Matches
Relive memorable moments from different football seasons in Milestone Matches. Each week a new set of Matches unlocks. Completing a Match rewards you with 30k Coins and 100 Scouting Points. Complete them all to earn the Captain Armband.
Use the Captain Armband in the Transition Chapter to claim one of three ICON Captains. Captains are ICON Pioneer Players, meaning you get the Player in this season and a lower OVR version in the next season.
Choose wisely because you can only claim one Captain in the Event!
Transition
This Chapter shows off all Pioneer Players. Claiming a Pioneer Player gives you the Player in this season and a version of that Player with lower OVR and different stats in the next.
After September 1, click on the “New Season” button to see what the Player Items will look like in the next season.
Exchanges
Complete Exchanges using tradeable and untradeable Players to Earn Club Points. Use your Club Points to complete Exchanges and earn 114 OVR to 120 OVR Founders Players, which will also include some Pioneer Players.
There’s also a special Exchange where you’ll be able to trade in a 117 OVR Retro Stars Star Player + Scouting Points for a 118-120 OVR Founders Player.
