Can you hear that sizzle? The Summer Vacation Series is really starting to heat up, and the second update is rolling in. It's time to grab your sunscreen and pack your bags. 

The first update in the series made a splash in SimTown. But, is any vacation complete without a trip? Nope! So it’s time to ‘Get Out of Town’ in the next Summer Vacation Series update.

The Summer Vacation Series continues!

That's right! It's time to take a trip, see some sights, and cause a whole lotta chaos. Are your Sims seeking a summer camp, buzzing to go birdwatching by the lake? Yep, we’ve got all of that. Or, how about a chance to renovate a large lot that feels like an entire seaside retreat? It's called Peninsula of Poseidon, and we think it might be the Summer Series highlight!

Caution: Do *not* trust the birds. Word around the campsite is that they’ve developed a passion for (stealing) binoculars. Make sure you keep yours close while out and about.

Join the Freezer Bunny Hunt: Sun’s Out, Buns Out!

BREAKING NEWS: Rumor has it that Sims are seeing three types of Freezer Bunnies in SimTown, spreading like fluffy wildfire! It seems they have a tendency to escape their frosty refrigerators and are causing adorable mayhem across SimTown. Could it be true? Or is it just too much sun causing confusion? #SunsOutBunsOut

Only one way to find out! Word on the grapevine is they’ve been spotted at parks, public spaces, and maybe even at some of the live event locations! And, it sounds like each one has a unique summer style: a sunlounger stowaway, a marshmallow muncher, and an ornithologist binoculogist. We need you and your Sim to find where they are.

Ready to join the hunt? Here’s how it works:

• Download the update when it becomes available.
• Log in each day to receive a new clue in your inbox, along with a small gift.
• Follow the clues to find hidden Freezer Bunnies around SimTown. Some bunnies are tucked away in tricky spots or in locations that only unlock later in the game.
• Work together; this is a community event. If even one Simmer finds a bunny and we see it, that counts for everyone. Whether you're just starting out or a seasoned player, your contribution helps.
• There’ll be three waves, each lasting for 6 days.
• Earn rewards. At the end of each wave, if all bunnies have been found, everyone gets a prize.
• Join the conversation. Follow our social channels to see when bunnies are spotted, or be the first to share your own screenshots and help others join the fun.

In this update, we’ll also be running a contest on our socials, with the 10 best entries having a chance to win 500 SP!

SimChase - Camping is in Tents!

Ah, your Sims have finally found the best spot to camp. Or have they?! There’s Teddy Thrylls again, the outdoorsy self-proclaimed celebrity survivalist who is definitely going to lay claim to the best birdwatching spot!

Craft Challenge - Peninsula of Poseidon

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And when a mysterious postcard shows up in your mailbox promising what feels like an entire coastal town packed into a single lot, in exchange for a few minor repairs, you grab your tools and your tzatziki.

Honestly, who wouldn’t want this dreamy, large lot in return for a bit of elbow grease? There's a lot to love, whether you’re in it for the gorgeous bell towers, flower-laden arbours, or colorful mopeds.

Influence Island - Lord of the Bugs

Trouble at Summer Camp! The preteens, united under the rebellious Jack Eagle, have kicked out their camp leader! Can you break out some strategic arm-crossing and finger-wags to get them back in line? Oh, wait, did they just start a food fight?!

What else can you expect when jumping in?

Influence Island - Driving with Daisies

“Aha!” exclaims your entrepreneurial Sim, convinced they’ve just come up with the most unique idea ever. A mobile florist business on wheels! The next step is procuring a cute flower van for deliveries. What could go wrong? One rival, two words: Florence Vann. She’s eyeing the same van for the same business idea! Get SimTown to rally behind you to secure your dream floral machine.

SimChase - The Grand Havarest Room

Nature calls! Unfortunately, Venus de Flusho gets a ring from nature at the same time, too. And if you weren’t aware already, Venus is infamous for getting lost in the wash… spending way too much time in the restroom. And given how grand this particular WC is, you best believe she’s never coming out of there! Hurry, get in before her! 

Woodworking Hobby Event - Nailed It!

Summertime hobby classes can be the highlight of your Simmers’ Summers! This year, renowned craftsman Carpenter Kostas is visiting SimTown, ready to pass on his vast knowledge and mentor new woodworkers. Participate in this Woodworking Event to earn new Village Furnishings for your Sims’ homes!

Influence Island - Cabana Bar

Build out a cozy floral bar where you can grab refreshing drinks. Cabana Bar returns with another opportunity for you to earn the highly sought-after items to build the bar your Sims can retreat to and relax at! You wouldn’t wanna miss out on the action that lets your Sim splash a drink in the face of another! 

Craft Challenge - Holidays ‘n’ Helipads

Earn items to build a holiday home with a helipad atop. It also comes with a helicopter! Need we say more?
