We’re constantly inspired by our passionate players (that’s you!) and Game Changers. We receive feedback and requests almost every day about making changes, bugs fixes and implementing new features and events to make The Sims Mobile the best it can be. In our latest update, we've delivered something for all types of players to enjoy – stylist Simmers, builder Simmers and storytelling Simmers – we can’t wait to see how you express your creativity with the fun content coming your way.

Photo Mode

Surprise - you read it correctly! Its one of our most asked for features - a ‘Photo Mode’ screenshot feature has arrived. Now you can take photos of your latest interior styling, hosting experiences of your social parties and even set the mood with a day to nighttime cycle setting.

To experience this highly anticipated camera mode, all you have to do to access the photo tool wherever Build Buy mode is accessible, is open ‘Build Buy’ mode. A new button will be visible on the bottom left hand side of the ‘Build Buy’ screen will appear which removes the UI menu completely! Line up your shot and press your own phone screenshot function to capture your special moments of your Sims. This will save the image to your phones gallery for you to share to social media whenever you want! Show your photos to the SimGurus using the hashtag #TheSimsMobile!

Fourth Level Build Mode

Big houses, big dreams! Since the ‘Raise the Roof’ update earlier this year, you've enjoyed the luxury of expanding your Sim’s establishments by up to 3 floors – now we’re introducing a fourth level to renovate your multistory mansions even higher!

The fourth level build mode is available at Level 30 and costs 200,000 Simoleons. You must first have unlocked second and third story access. Visit the Build Buy menu while you’re inside the house you want to renovate and find the Fourth Level access in the Floor Levels build menu.

The multi-level feature is permanent to the base game and is available to all players that have passed the tutorials and up to Level 4. If you’re Level 4, you can early unlock the multi-level feature for SimCash (premium currency) if you want to skip to it. But for new players second level build access unlocks at Level 14 and third level build access unlocks at Level 25 without paying premium currency.

Design A Games & Hobby Room

Did you take part in our Player Survey a few weeks ago? The results are in! You told us that you want to see more games & hobby room items in our future updates, so we’ve based a Sweet Treat Showdown event around a ‘Dream Garage’ theme!

Players will be able to transform a garage space from basic to man cave with a wide range of rewards with everything you need from tools to decor. Even though there are no cars in The Sims Mobile at this stage, that doesn’t mean that’s how you have to use a garage space!

Think about it – you don’t need the same things for a man cave as they would for an auto workspace. It’s easy to get pigeonholed into traditional or common garage uses, so The Sims Mobile have made the possibilities endless!

For example, builder and stylist-Simmers will love brainstorming what they’ll be doing with this space and how the theme will play into their time in the garage –  create a library, entertainment room, playroom and more!

‘Dream Garage’ Sweet Treat Showdown

Completing the ‘Dream Garage’ Sweet Treat Showdown to have the ability to earn hobby room décor like a foosball table, bean bag, mudroom unit, ottoman bench, wall mounted tools, bucket with cleaning products, dungarees outfit, cabinets and counters, plus a grand prize of a brand-new animated bi-fold garage door!

Improved Graphics on Android

We're excited to share that we’ve improved the graphics quality for the vast majority of Android devices to make your gaming experience even more beautiful. This includes improved texture compression which allowing us to use much higher quality assets to improve graphics for the majority of Android devices!

Bug Fixes

Our game team have been hard at work squashing bugs! Here is a list of just a few notable mentions that we’ve managed to fix in this update:

• We fixed some crashes when interacting at Parties and we’ll continue to investigate this.
• The land expansion confirmation now says "Are you sure?" instead of "Yeah! Let's do it!"
• The ‘Tidy Up’ Bathroom Shelf is now found in the Bathroom object Build/Buy category
• The ‘Bit of Ambiance’ Plant Tree is now found in the Indoor Plant Build/Buy category
• Added missing Energy Boost descriptions for a number of Build/Buy objects

Eco Workshop Bugs:

• Fixed the Polish localization of weekday names in the Eco Workshop
• It should now be easier to purchase additional copies of Build/Buy objects crafted with the Eco Workshop in Build/Buy mode
• Fixed the invisible LlamaZoom Timer in non-English Eco Workshop menu layout
• Fixed the overlapping "?" button next to the Eco Workshop timer
• The LlamaZoom Truck's placement should now be consistent when parked at the Eco Retreat

Fixed colour swatch/variant issues with a number of Build/Buy objects:

• ‘Farmhouse’ Dining Chair
• ‘Table Lamp of the Future’
• ‘Modernly Modular’ Side Table
• ‘Modern and Tall’ Dresser
• ‘Griddle’ Inner Counter

Fixed colour swatch/variant issues with a number of clothing items:

• ‘Homeland Pride’ Varsity Jacket
• ‘Pressed and Distressed’ Jeans
• ‘Fetch’ Folded Crop Top
• ‘Natural’ Folded Crop Top

Fixed clipping/texture/animation issues with a number of Build/Buy objects:

• Few lights no longer clip with ‘Strung Together’ Shelving
• ‘Sage’ Outer Corner Cabinet no longer clips through to exterior wall
• Suspended Kitchen Shelf no longer has a floating slot available outside of the object
• Gap is no longer visible when trying to place counter beside the sink
• The ‘Live it Up’ Sparkling Shell wall decoration is now illuminated by light at night
• ‘Blanket Arizona’ outdoor plant no longer clips with home walls
• ‘Simstagram Fab’ Neon Light no longer clips with few wall supported objects
• Fashion Runway object was partly corrupted when placed outside the fashion studio, this no longer occurs
• The placement footprint no longer covers the Farmhouse Dining Centerpiece when placing, to make it easier to view color variants

Fixed clipping and texture issues with a number of clothing items and hairstyles:

• ‘Denim Skirt Pants Combo’ no longer clips with various tops
• Glitch was seen on applying few footwear in combination with outfits, this should no longer occur
• ‘Twirls of Pearls Necklace’ no longer clips with vairious tops and outfits
• Slight seam on forehead of Sim is removed after applying "Vintage Bob" hairstyle
• Female wavy bandana hairstyle no longer clips with newsboy hat
