Subscription Supply Drop - October 2019

Apex Legends Battle Pass, Slay the Spire, Dead Cells, and More!

Origin Access New Games

Welcome back to the Subscription Supply Drop—your one-stop shop for all things subs-related at EA. If you’re an Origin Access* subscriber, this is your home for all the details on games joining the catalog, what titles you might have missed in recent months, and what benefits you can nab.

If you thought last month was a doozy, strap in. We’re dropping in a medley of great games that range from major EA releases to some of the biggest partner titles of the season. On the EA side, the Season 3 Battle Pass for Apex Legends™ is available now for all Origin Access Premier subscribers, and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville™ will see its worldwide release after a player-fueled Founder’s Edition run. Our partner titles are just as big and beloved, with Dead Cells and Slay the Spire jumping into the fray. Last but not least, an indie smorghishboard rounds out the content drop—including Shantae: Half Genie Hero, Shio, Home Behind, and Nex Machina.

We get it: That was a lot to take in. So let’s slow things down and highlight the full Origin Access lineup for October:

Full list of games coming to Origin Access in October:

  • Thanks to all our Origin Access Premier subscribers who jumped into the Founder’s Edition of Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville! The Deluxe Edition is now available for download on Premier, with a 10-hour trial coming to Basic members on October 15. So everyone can jump into the six online multiplayer modes and join forces with friends to dominate opponents. The multiplayer madness doesn’t stop there, though, as the Battle Pass for Season 3 of Apex Legends is now available for all Origin Access Premier players. This is the biggest season of Respawn’s Battle Royale phenomenon yet, so take this golden ticket and go dominate the battlefield.
  • This next two games are filled with both style and substance. Roguelike deckbuilder Slay the Spire brings skill and strategy into the fold, while metroidvania hit Dead Cells gives players endless dungeons and enemies to conquer.
  • If you’re even remotely interested in indie games, October provides a heaping helping of incredible experiences from creative and innovative teams. Where do we even start? Fulfill a wish in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (with an extra rub on the lamp for Premier members with the inclusion of Ultimate Edition), shine a light in Shio, try to survive in Home Behind, or experience voxel destruction in Nex Machina. Take your pick—there’s enough genres and game types to go around.
