Push past your limits in the Power Trip Event

Experimental stims have hit the Outlands. Get ready for a different fight every drop in Wildcard with new round modifiers and a brand-new Wildcard map rotation. 

Check out the latest temporary Legend unlocks, including new weekly challenges to earn Thematic Packs. Plus, new cosmetics: bio-enhanced Legendary Skins, and the new Ash Prestige Skin.

The Power Trip Event runs from June 2-23. 

WILDCARD: POWER TRIP

Wildcard has mutated, bringing new round modifiers that change the rules for every Legend at once. These modifiers can open up the game in wildly different ways.

One round you’re wall running through gunfights. Next, every weapon on the map is Mythic. After that, your whole squad shrinks. You’ve got to read the round and react faster than everyone else.

Wildcard was always designed as Apex's most accessible, arcade-style mode, with faster games, and more room to experiment. Power Trip pushes that further, creating new ways to compete that we couldn’t bring in to the main game.

Here’s all the round modifiers:

  • Featherweight: Legends can jump higher, double jump, and fast fall while airborne.
  • Armored Up: Gain Red Tier Armor and Knockdown Shield.
  • Red Handed: All weapons are upgraded to Mythic. (And we mean all weapons. Get ready to meet some new Mythics.)
  • Crouching Camo: Legends cloak while crouching or sliding.
  • Small Fry: All Legends shrink. Adorable.
  • Blind Box: All Legends get the same random weapon.
  • Adrenaline Rush: Run and slide faster, wallrun on command. Get an extra speed boost on knocking an enemy.
  • Explosive: Legends gain infinite grenades, and self-destruct on death.
  • Blank Slate: All effects are disabled. Take a breather.

WILDCARD MAP ROTATION

New. Map. Every. 15. Minutes.

To keep Wildcard feeling fresh, the Wildcard map will now rotate between Kings Canyon, Olympus, and Broken Moon every 15 minutes. Enjoy.

EVENT CHALLENGES & LEGENDS UNLOCKED

Ash, Conduit, and Vantage are all temporarily unlocked for the whole event. 

Each week also has its own challenge set. Complete it and earn a different Thematic Pack each week:

  • Week 1: Complete Challenge Set 1 → earn 1 Ash Thematic Pack
  • Week 2: Complete Challenge Set 2 → earn 1 Conduit Thematic Pack
  • Week 3: Complete Challenge Set 3 → earn 1 Vantage Thematic Pack

EVENT ITEMS

REWARD SHOP

Collect Vials by completing daily event challenges, then check out the Power Trip Event Reward Shop to redeem them for rewards.

Claim an Epic Gibraltar skin in phase 1, followed by an Epic Gibraltar Banner Frame in phase 2. Plus, an Event Pack and more are all up for grabs.

PATCH NOTES: RECENT UPDATES & FIXES

Here are some updates and fixes from our most recent patches:

  • Xbox voice comms have been reenabled
  • Various server crashes and stability fixes
  • Respawning a teammate from their deathbox now grants intended XP
  • Enemy healthbars are now removed from in-match player UI when disabled in settings
  • On PS5, performance mode settings no longer reset with game relaunch
  • On PS5 and Switch, graphic and brightness settings no longer reset with game relaunch
  • Opening 50 Wishlist upgraded packs no longer results in an error/crash
  • Removed purple dots on Ballistic in the splash screen
  • Axle's Tactical and Ultimate abilities now display the appropriate names
  • Axle's Ultimate no longer targets friendly Mirage decoys
  • Crypto can no longer teleport to his drone in certain circumstances
  • Players are now appropriately shielded by Gibraltar's Tactical from Gibraltar's Ultimate while healing
  • Xbox players are now able to purchase the Ultimate+ Battle Pass by ensuring their Xbox OS is fully updated
