Let The Games Begin!

Happy August, football fans, and welcome to the Opening Drive, the first Live Event of the Madden NFL 26 Mobile season!

Opening Drive is just like its namesake suggests, as it sees us flinging the gates wide open for a torrent of new content including new game mechanics, new players, and a ton of new and exciting rewards!

Stay Alive During Opening Drive

The main Opening Drive Blitz Map is a landing page where players can use their stamina to play different events, conquer challenges, and grab some rewards!

Hit the field and take on a variety of challenges, including Passing, Rushing, Field Goal, Defense, Touchdown, and Halftime Blitz! 

As you play, you'll earn Event Pass Points along with Opening Drive Tokens and Players, which you can use to complete Trades and add new Opening Drive Players to your lineup.

This year, we’ve gotten rid of progression being locked behind OVR gates for these events. That means that everyone will have the chance to try their hand at these events regardless of their OVR.

On the Drive 1 Map, you’ll be able to tackle and complete specific Challenges featuring Opening Drive Mythic Players! 

You’ll receive a logo at the end of each Player Journey you complete, and if you complete every Player Journey on the Drop 1 Map, you’ll be able to grab a unique Nameplate!

Watch Your Back, It’s A Point Attack

Point Attack - Passing event screen: Score points within time limit to earn rewards. Best Score: 0. Rewards: 1500 points = 2x Uncommon OD Players, 450 points = Uncommon OD Player. Ends in 20:28:12.

Alongside the onslaught of Opening Drive comes a daily dose of high-octane action with a Daily Point Attack Challenge every day during the event!

Score as many points as possible within the time limit. Try to beat your highest score with each attempt. You can also earn a milestone reward once per attempt by reaching a certain score!

Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

The "Select Play Mode" screen shows Madden NFL players for the Opening Drive event. Unlock 117 OVR Mythic players like L. Jackson, Z. Flowers. Earn rewards daily, complete challenges, and more.

Everyone knows that the key to a great team is the right balance of players, and the squad we’ve got lined up for Opening Drive is gonna have your back right from the first whistle. 

Let’s take a look at the players being added to the player pool of items in Madden NFL 25 Mobile during the Opening Drive event, starting at Epic OVR 96 and upgradable to a max of Mythic OVR 117!

And, in case you missed it, new in Madden NFL 26 Mobile this year are Dual Player Cards. Dual Players are a new type of player card that features two different players as a single card. 

The Dual Player Card for the Opening Drive event is none other than Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers! This Dual Player card is a single card that can be used as a QB Lamar Jackson or a WR Zay Flowers depending on how you want to use it!

Now, take a deep breath, visualize your goals, and get training, because Opening Drive ends on August 21st at 10:30 AM ET!
